Clair looks at the doll and claps vividly as it begins to dance to a tune. Oh my! How pretty! Claire thinks as she watches it carefully. She is saddened to watch the doll's act come to an end, never to be restarted again. Claire tries to make the object restart it's function, however, she cannot induce anything other than quietness.
Dismissing this ordeal completely, Claire turns her attention to the boy, and, over the next week, the two search the island for any signs of parents that could possibly be searching for their child. Although nothing becomes apparent to the pair about missing children, something else does. "People" that can only be identified as Ghosts begin to attack the pair, yet, Claire continues her daily duties of searching as normal, as, for whatever reason, whenever the Ghosts get anywhere near the duo, they disentegrate. At first, Claire wondered what all this could mean, but sooner or later, Claire dismissed it and continued on with her search, however fruitless if may be proving..
The ghosts {if your character was being attacked} has suddenly stopped appearing/attacking, the boy {if your character still had him} has mysteriously gone missing as well this day... Everything seems to suddenly grow cold, dark, and horrible.. All happening at once. What was going on? As for the people, if they are not random blue glowing energies are still going about their lives like nothing is wrong. If a character touches the glowing blue energies orbs they'll see random flashbacks of random people lives...
A grey world seemed to enveloped leaving only the colors of blue and red to shine brightly. Everyone who {where not turned into spirit floating orbs} where walking around like nothing was wrong... But everything was so bland, grey, and depressing... Mysteriously a shadow seems to appear here and there... When a character looks at this shadow it seems to vanish. But the owner of the shadow, smirks with every successful dodge. The shadow was gaining power over this world and it knew it... Soon the dance will come.. Soon all will come to light.
Basically notice how everything lost its color, taste, and well meaning. Notice how only your character has color. How the boy{if your character still had him} mysteriously vanished, probably kidnapped. Notice how.. well you get the point.

Geoffrey wakes one morning, and the boy has left, seemingly without a trace. No cape, no notes, no signs; not a thing to designate where he had gone. Geoffrey chalks it up as a part of the games and he is, in a way, relieved that he is no longer reseponsible for someone so young. He looks into the box, and once again, he finds an object, however, this time, it looks completely ordinary. A Tiny Mushroom.. Geoffrey thinks, actually happy that the gift isn't something darker or with more hidden meaning.
Geoffrey goes throughout the day, and not a Ghost comes into sight. Geoffrey notices, however, how dark and dreary the world seems to have become overnight. As Geoffrey walks through the streets, what seems to be the afterglow of people now appear as glowing blue people. Geoffrey avoids each orb as much as he can, not even wishing to know what they mean, but he can help his looking around. The world looks so grey, so sad, so melancholy, and yet Geoffrey doesn't know what to do about it. Geoffrey looks at an shadow that he comes across, trying to peer into it to see if it is real, however, when the shadow truly avoids Geoffrey's gaze, the young man quickly runs back into the retreat of his room.
Geoffrey looks at the box as he opens it yet again, hoping that perhaps the answer to this new dark world can be found within it.
Justice looks at the Tiny Mushroom that he found in the box tonight. So..the object capable of.. He thinks, wandering off into thought before turning to show the boy. Before he can speak, however, he notices the young child is gone. Where did he.. Justice thinks, looking everywhere, however, finding nothing but a pile of golden sparkling ash where the boy had stood previously.
Justice doesn't think much of the boy's disappearance throughout the day, considering he spent the entirity of it trying to figure out why the world had lost its color. Justice walks through the town, seeing nothing but floating orbs and a few people rather than the many flocks that are usually present. Justice touches a few of the orbs, only to be greeted by memories foreign to himself. Justice does this continually throughout the day, memorizing each memory that he can, holding onto the information, all the while worried about the apparent melancholy of the world.
Justice looks at a shadow that, for whatever reason, made itself known unto him, however, when he looks closely at the shadow, it shuns away from him. Obviously, Justice finds this peculiar, but he doesn't ponder over it anymore than he does everything else. Justice eventually walks back to the Inn, not knowing what else to do. He looks at the box again and opens it, wondering if perhaps answer could lie in the strangeness of it..

When Violette wakes up, she looks in the box and finds a Tiny Mushroom within it. The purple haired girl wonders if these gifts are in any way related, for she has no way of connecting the dots if they are..
Violette goes throughout the day peacefully, basically. She notices the lack of color, and she wonders if perhaps this is part of the box's effect, however, she doesn't worry all that much. She does begin to worry when she notices that people seem to have turned to..orbs? Violette is, in a way, dumbfounded by the strangeness of the orbs, yet she refuses to touch them, scared she might break one, only to find it was one of her friends..
Violette goes throughout the day slowly before finding the shadow..when the shadow moves, Violette, in a reflexive motion, stamps toward it, only to miss yet again. Violette walks away angrily, not understanding any of this, yet not truly caring all that much.
She heads back to her room, where she once again opens the box, not searching for answers or clues, just something to do..

As Claire grabs the Tiny Mushroom out from the box, she wonders if it would make a good addition to the kitchen. I'll see if Ms. Whippy can do something with it later! Claire says, looking over to the corner, ready to show her new friend her new object. Claire can't seem to locate the boy, however. She assumes that he ran off somewhere into the palace, so she leaves her room to search for him.
When she leaves the room, however, she notices the darkness and dreariness of the entire scene. The walls, the floors, the nature, everything is so void of color. Claire, completely forgetting about the missing boy from the new shock, runs outside to check the world, and it too has gone dark in color.
Tears begin to flow down Claire's face as she shouts out over the training ground, where a few blue orbs float.."Color!! Come back! Please!! I promise! We'll use you! Really! Please come back!!" after several hours of such shouting and ranting, Claire decides to go back to her room, however, on her way back, she sees a normal person, casting a strange shadow.
When Claire peers in to look at the shadow, it shuns away, and Claire makes nothing of it at all. She doesn't find it creepy, she doesn't find it strange, she just walks away. As she enters her room, she locks the door and plops on the bed with her box. She quietly opens the box, hoping that opening it will bring back the color, all the while, something eats away at her, making her feel like there was something she forgot..
After days of avoiding human settlements, the ghost had disappeared. As well as the color, feel and sense of luck had disappeared from the world. Whatever human town he had approached, there was glowing orbs of red and blue. The boy he had been taking care of had vanished, suddenly and quite mysteriously, worrying Stryker a bit. The weird shadow that had been stalking Stryker kept appearing and disappearing, driving him slowly mad. Why is that shadow looking like it's about to take over the world? Why is everything depressing? he thought as he sank down in his nest, feeling utterly sad. Perhaps the box has a gift to cheer me up? he thought as he checked it. Probably has nothing.
