Justice looks at the gem with eyes of indifference. So.. another magical item I suppose.. Then, something truly catches Justice's eyes. A little slip of paper, with writing he could make out as a woman of intellect's. As he reads, his mind captures each fact just as he always does. He considers each word and phrase, calculating each word and its significance.
Upon reading the vagueness of the letter, Justice wonders what could possibly prevent someone from writing out everything they needed to on paper. Justice had already assumed the fact that the looking glass he recieved was magical in some way, this message only clarifies that in his mind. However, the fact about the gem necklace's ability would not have come so easily.
Hearing the name of the creatures allegedly following him, "Ghosts", makes the young man picture just exactly what they could look like. Justice's mind wanders off as he reads the part about intellect and thought being used to survive. The Gods never cease do they.. Justice thinks as he places the box down, memorizing every word.
Justice places the box on his nightstand, hidden from sight behind his two eggs. He lays his head down to sleep, and, after just a few minutes after lulling off, nightmares fill his mind. All night these dark dreams occur, and by the morning, Justice has become completely stressed. He decides to work on the inn during the day rather than worry, as he knows too many negative emotions could cloud his judgment if ever the "ghosts" decide make their appearance.
Justice puts his gem on around his neck, hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst. All day, Justice works on the interior of the Inn, never venturing out but once to grab some supplies. Despite his lack of interaction with people, Justice feels even more worried than he had when he woke. Now, Justice stuggles to prevent his mind from overreacting to his situation.
Finally, when Justice decides to give up for the day, he goes back into his room to find the box on his bed, with yet another change in appearance. My my.. I see why the Ghosts hunt for it.. such power is quite intriguing..
Justice looks at the box, it's deep purple color making its metal makeup almost impossible to distinguish. He sits on the bed and opens the box. Ready for, hoping for, something that would help him out, either through knowledge, or through means, he looks in.
