Twin Daggers;; With multiple uses, his two prized daggers are his favorite fighting technique. The blades are about seven inches in length and lined with glyphs of an ancient lost language. The handles are thin with hardly anything to separate the handle and the blade. They are usually used for throwing, blocking and stabbing rather then slashing because the blade is thin and straight with a tip rather then a sharp edge.Leather Whip;; Altair's whip is about seven feet long and made out of white rapadash horse leather. At his word it could burst into blue flames that embraces most of the whip itself, leaving the handle fire free.
xx Magic
Being from the Providence, Altair believes very much in magic and certainly in the arts of ancient fire magic taught to him by his pokemon partner Crocevia. The technique is complicated and so he uses it as often as possible, but also as careful as possible. Although the technique is strong magic, it is also ancient and very dangerous magic. Formed and led by lifeforce this technique feeds on Altair's inner lifeforce, much similar to the use of energy, except it pulls directly from his inner thoughts, feelings, and memories. He will often forget things quite easily or the use will even take entire memories from his mind. Depending on how much he uses. Normally he is able to control it to feed only off of current feelings and thoughts. So he can be quite dramatic and intense in expression when he fights or practices. Likewise, if he is not using the ability he will be completely void of emotions. He is careful to use only bits of magic or to force it only to feed on thoughts and emotion and to keep himself from loosing memories. If he does it will mainly be to forget simple matters like remembering to get a present for someone's birthday. Or he will arrive late to a meeting because he forgot to check the time or something to that effect. Also, he cannot perform the magic without the help of Crocevia. If the fox Pokemon is unconscious, sleeping, or not by his side he cannot perform the arts. The Mirror Room
xx Face Claim
Yoite of Nabari No Ouxx Appearance
Quite the opposite of his parents, Altair was born with stunning blind blue eyes and a very pale skin complexion. He stands at about 5'3" with a very thin body structure, due mostly to lack of care and constant traveling. But that shouldn't count him out of the fighting area. His speed is everything. He relies very heavily on his speed and accuracy to take people and obstacles down. His hair is short and most of the time very shaggy because he never has the time to take care of it due to constant traveling once again. Although he does try his best to care for his appearance when he is with people who are important. He isn't self conscious or anything, just never really has time to think about it. He is normally too occupied with not getting stabbed in the back.
Ever since the attack on Agraba, Altair hasn't had the chance to live in royalty nor wear the clothes a royal would wear even though he is the rightful king of the Dessert providence. So he often wears long cloaks and hats to hide his face from people who might recognize him or notice him. Not to mention hide the fact that he is blind and cannot see them anyway.
Open and Public
xx Personality
For the most part Altair is normally a very calm person whom is not easy to read or understand. He can be very serious and quiet when he isn't planning to use his fire technique. It seems as though he cares way too much about the problems at hand and not enough about the people around him who care about him. That certainly is not the case and although he doesn't show it as often as he would like, he still needs them to be around him.
His emotions are often even harder to understand due to his blindness. No emotion can be seen expressed from his eyes. Although it is still very hard to tell that he cannot see because of his sensing ability through Cevia, who gives him the ability to sense movement and heat around him. This aids him, especially during a fight, with interacting with other people. It is almost impossible to sneak up on him because of this. You would need to be masked by magic to not be found out. He is very careful though to keep other people in the dark about how he cannot see them. He can turn the heat vision on and off because it often gives him a headache, but he his circular sensing is managed by Cevia who keeps it on as much as possible.
About his Ninetails Crocevia, Altair has a special connection to the Pokemon. Being of royal blood and of a great prophecy he has not only been blessed by the Spirit Mew of the Desert Providence, but he has also been exposed to the God Hoho giving him a special connection to Crocevia. They are able to speak to each other and send energy back and forth to the other. Crocevia is the only person that Altair truly trusts with his complete life.
Everything that Altair does that isn't fighting or being by himself is done professionally. He somehow knows that everything he does has to be perfect, though he doesn't know why. He gets the sense of it from his elder sister and body guard. So when he deals with people in anyway directly or indirectly he acts in a professional way according to the way he has been taught.
When Altair gets emotional all hell breaks loose. He freaks out and everything gets burned, literally. It doesn't matter if he is sad, angry, or even if he's in a happy mood, strange and dangerous things tend to happen during those times. It is often kept under control due to his non-use of the fire technique. But you better be careful when he does use it because he definitely knows how to, especially when he is angry. Touch his family and the best thing you can look forward to is a potentially disfigured face. You don't mess with Altair's family/property.
Most of the time when he uses the ancient fire technique or fights he is able to control his emotions to a limited amount. At the same time only using simple and small moves with the fire magic. (It is something like a fire nation's technique in Avatar: The Last Airbender, but he is able to conjure fire without making some kind of cool move.) But when he is able to control his emotions he could potentially be even more dangerous then if he weren't in control of his feelings. Then his mind and focus takes control and all of his training takes over.
Altair is a very bitter person towards the thieves and slave traders. He despises the people of the Crystal kingdom and cares not for the people of the Olivae kingdom. He doesn't trust anyone except people in his immediate family and in his small inner circle. However, despite his professional behavior he can be quite a rebel. Often doing the complete opposite of what anyone (even Crocevia) tells him to do. Having a great hatred for the slave traders, he will often do as much havoc as he can on them to slow them down and set free all of the slaves they have caught. He is not afraid to stand up and express his thoughts to those who do not share his opinion.
He can fight pretty well without the fire technique, which is mostly in close quarters with his dagger or using his whip which allows him to see using the heat ability with it. So, if you just so happen to take out his ninetails, don't think you're out of the water yet. He will mostly use these two tactics to fight and will only use the fire technique if he knows the opponent is a much better fighter then him.

The Secret Side of Me
xx Greatest Secret
His inability to see is a great secret that only specific people in his company know about. His sister and closest body guard. Along with this is the fact that he is the rightful prince and king of the Desert Providence. Even he doesn't know this fact due to it being kept from him by his sister and body guard. xx Greatest Fear
Altair is deathly afraid of closed quarters. Despite his inability to see properly he feels cut off and suffocated when he is in prisons or small areas. He finds it hard to breath and it feels as if the walls around him were going to close in on him. He will definitely freak out if this happens to him.He does not fear for his sister and body guard because he knows that they both can take care of themselves and are just as good (if not better) fighters then he himself.
xx Greatest Desire
Altair greatly desires the ability to see with complete sight. He hates being blind even though he gets on with life not really caring about it. He just finds it quite irritating in many situations. Especially when he can't read.Out of This World
xx Pokemon
Normally I would select three things to match my character, but I really think that Ninetails would fit Altair the most. A rare male Ninetails that is named Crocevia, that translates as Crossroads in English from Italian. Altair will often call him by a nickname, Cevia. He is the one that taught altair the ancient fire technique that he often uses now. He is also Altair's guide, due to his inability to see. He allows Altair to view the world in heat colors and even notice things around himself without the need of his eyes. This is His-story
xx History
It all started on a dark and sandy night… lol just kidding, well… not really. You know the story of the street rat Aladdin, and the beautiful Princess Jasmine right? Well good. Thats where it all started. It wasn't long before Jasmine became pregnant. It was announced to the entire kingdom. On this night, however, Jasmine and Aladdin were visited by a blue mew. This mew seemed quite hesitant and overwhelmed. Something was definitely bothering it, yet it would not reveal what that was, or couldn't. Instead it went to touch Jasmine's belly and blessed the child within it. Then left without anything more. This both bewildered the royal couple and gave them joy. The Spirit mew came to bless their child. But after a couple months, Aladdin became worried. Mew had seemed to be in a hurry or under some kind of pressure. Why would she come with such a worrying aura about her?He completely forgot about it, however, when Altair was born. He was so over joyed with his son's birth he totally didn't notice how pale his skin was and how blue his eyes were. When Jasmine pointed them out to him they both watched the boy in complete wonder. They called in the royal medic, and even couldn't figure it out. Finally Jasmine commented on how the mew had blessed him while he was still in the womb. That discomfort came back to Aladdin and it wasn't a week later when they were visited by the local magician.
He told them a prophecy that he had received about Agraba and about the new born child. It talked about a great catastrophe that would last for several years and a child who would become lost. This child, however, could potentially be the redeemer of his city.
This troubled Aladdin quite a bit after the magician left his courts. He feared for his kingdom and feared for his son, daughter and wife. He began to do everything possible to keep his kingdom safe. He called a young man who was moving up in ranks among the royal guard and was also learning much from Aladdin himself. He charged the young man to be his family's personal body guard, wondering what the disaster might be.
Stronger walls were built around the palace and no foreigner was allowed entrance into the country or capital city, without special documents. He kept a careful eye on everything going on within his house hold and within his city.
Within a year of Altair's birth they found that he could not see and that he was blind at birth. This frightened the parents even more and wondered if the Spirit mew's blessing was more like a curse.
This got him into trouble of course. He didn't know what it was that was supposed to bring his kingdom down, but he definitely wasn't ready for what came 3 years after the prophecy. There had been a group of Thieves that had snuck into the city right before the ban over entering without papers. They attacked within the night, but the 13 year old young guard noticed the entrance of the intruders and took the 3 year old boy and his older 7 year old sister and snuck the two out of the palace. He wasn't able to reach the parents and so had no idea what had happened to them.
He was able to save the royal children and took them far into the desert with the head advisor who guided their way. They ran and hid within the sand cave of wonders to keep hidden for three or four weeks, doing their best to keep the children safe and healthy. Soon they figured it would be alright to come out and visit their city.
It was in ruins when they arrived and saw how their people had lost everything to the King of the forty thieves. Everything had fallen to pieces. But because of a close call to being captured by the thieves themselves they left the city and have been running ever since. The guard and head adviser talked it over, along with the elder sister, and decided not to tell the younger brother that he was really the prince or king of the Agraba kingdom until his sixteenth birthday, but that they would teach him how to be a prince and potentially a king/sultan. And his sister would train in the arts of soul magic as she had been before.
It was several years before Altair was old enough to learn anything. He started being taught at the age of seven and that was only diplomatic stuff, especially since he couldn't learn to read or write. This was all while they were running from the thieves within the Desert Kingdom.
One day, when they arrived within a smaller village, they learned that the Olivae kingdom had taken over rule of Agraba. The advisor went into a rage at that point and turned over plenty of tables and things. He wasn't very happy. Altair did not understand all that well, but his sister also became very quiet and indignant at the situation. Also, it had become even more dangerous with the Thieves and the slave traders following after them all. So they left the village and moved to leave the province all together into the Olivae kingdom to see if they could find safety there.
On the way they stopped at a small oasis. During the night Altair woke up and began to leave his company behind, completely out of his mind because of stirred uncertain emotions. He became lost and stuck almost as soon as he had gotten away from the group. He felt afraid, angry, bitter, and frustrated at the people he traveled with. He knew nothing, had nothing, and saw nothing. He felt useless, and just like a burden. But being lost in the middle of the desert with a potential storm beginning to rage around him was not better.
His night was saved by a mysterious pokemon who embraced him and kept him from the worst of the storm. When he awoke the next morning he was with his company once again and everyone was completely quiet around him. Although they were relieved, they were also very quiet to him. When he asked his sister what had happened, all she said was that he was carried back to the oasis on a flying pokemon. Nothing else was told to him. So he went on without thinking about it again.
A couple days went by and they just happened to run into a slave trade caravan. It was here that Altair heard the caged fox pokemon. It spoke within his head and he knew that they were meant to meet. It was him who snuck up to the caravan despite his blindness. He depended on his hearing and the cover of the young guard who had followed after him in fear of loosing him. Together they reached the cage which held the fox pokemon (the caravan was currently stopped for a break.) With the guard quietly telling him not to do anything stupid, he found the person who had all the keys. It was here that the pokemon gave him the gift to see warmth. The boy almost gasped in surprise, but kept himself from giving away their positions. With this he snuck up to the key holder and swiped the keys from within his bags. (ohkay, I realize how unlikely this is, but please work with me!)
With those keys he managed to reach the cage once again and release the pokemon, all the while the young guard was whispering to him not to do it. When he was released the Ninetails went into a rage. Setting everything in sight on fire, including people. Meanwhile, since he had taken the keys from the boy, the guard went and set free the slaves that had been locked within the cages and led at the end of the caravan. When it had finished it's revenge the Ninetails went over to the boy and pulled it out of the havoc. When they had gotten out of the wreckage, they left. The Ninetails following them.
Altair became very close to the ninetails and even learned his name which was Crocevia. The italian name for Crossroads. He was owned by a previous owner, but said nothing about that time of his life. Altair believed him and let go of the thought.
When they reached Olivae, they found that the slavers were also there, stealing people within the night secretly under people's noses. It was during their run in Olivae that Crocevia offered to teach Altair ancient fire magic to help him on his way. He agreed.
It is now almost his 16th birthday. He is a master at fighting with his dagger and whip, and he is working well on his diplomatic studies, but has deep trouble with his social life. He is only really close to Cevia, his ninetails. Currently they are stepping into the Crystal kingdom, under the advisor's command, to attempt to hide under their noses.
