The Reaper's Game~The UG

[Fenrir]

The Noise shuddered under the explosion, and it disopated into the air, destroyed by the power of the flames. The Players all feel an odd pressure in the air, as the static released by the noise fills the room before fully "evaporating" into nothingness, at which point the pressure recedes to normal. All of the needles are similarly destroyed by the wave of force from the explosion.

Near the roof, the Angry woman turns an interesting shade of red as she slams into the roof, and turns to Faith, eye's blazing. "You imputent 1st timer! How dare you!" The woman pulled back a hand, as if to throw a ball. The pressure in the room increases, even more so that it did when the creature died, and a ball of purple energy develops in her hand. As she makes as though about to throw the ball, however, a new voice calls out from the entrance the Player's used.

"Easy Uzuki. You know the rules; no icing players directly. Besides, what would you do the rest of the week, if you killed all of them now?" Down at the entrance, there is a man in a black sleeveless vest, an curly orange hair, holding a small candy on a stick.



The purple ball vanishes in a puff of smoke, and the woman calms down significantly, although her body language hints that the anger is still there hidden beneath the act. She floats down to the ground in front of the orange haired man, and makes a face.

"Ugh...I hate 1st time players...they always make such stupid decisions..." The two step out of the building, and vanish into thin air...

[Violet Grimshaw]

Violette watches in horror as Odira is healed by the object found by the black counterpart. Suddenly, Violette feels a burst of electricity bolt into her body, one that prevents her from moving, one that causes her grip of Odette to lessen, causing the girl to fall to the ground. If Violette's wings hadn't stayed in their function, the purple-haired girl might have met the fate of the less fortunate players that are seemingly helpless to the noise's attacks.

Violette sits still, unable to move as each player is eventually dissolved into nothingness by the creatures. Why..why can't I Violette thinks, not knowing what had happened. Then, all of a sudden, the paralysis is gone, and Violette quickly turns to see the reason for the paralysis: Cherry. "Cherry! What did you do! You paralyzed me and those girls..they were all killed..because of you." Cherry looks to Violette with eyes of sadness for a moment, pointing to her bulbs which now flow with elecricity. "Hmm..well..Now..we need to help Geoffrey, there's no way of knowing how he's dealing with those things."

Violette looks to Cherry as they float over to the building and speaks. "Cherry..I suppose it would be best for us to become partners..so..let us forge a bond." Violette says as she looks to her companion. "Cher! Cher Cherrim!" Cherry says in reply, sealing the bond with a positive answer.

As Violette and Cherry approach the building, they are both startled by and explosion that seemed to originate from the inside. "What was that?" Violette says as she increases her speed, getting to the building in time to see two unknown figures walk out and then disappear into thin air.

As the pair walk in, not worried about the people that had just disappeared, Violette is shocked to see the amazing amount of fire and explosion damage that now covers the building. "What happened here?" Violette says, looking at Faith in midair with a dog like creature beneath her, and then looking to Geoffrey and what looks to be his partner. As Violette sees Geoffrey's struggle to remain conscious, she quickly runs over to him. "Giga Drain!" She says as a purple energy begins to flow into Geoffrey's body, rejuvinating him.

Violette looks around her, examining her surroundings, noticing that there are no other people here but players. "Sadly..the other players..they are gone, however, it looks like we won, right? All of those things are gone..and..whatever happened in here..you survived it. So we win? Violette says, not addressing anyone in particular.

[Sir Geoffrey]

Faith looks at her surroundings, luckily still linked with Altair. If the link had been broken, the only image Altair would see in his blindness for the rest of his life would have been the last thing Faith herself saw. She looks tries to stay afloat in the air, however, she can no longer remain airborne. As she falls, she is greeted by Stryker's fur. She quickly jumps off, not feeling comfortable in such a situation. I believe he will be fine..He has passed his limits..but..He won't die..

As the woman seems to prepare for another attack, Faith looks to Stryker, knowing that, at the moment at least, she can't attack anymore. However, when the woman is called off by what seems to be yet another person involved with the games, Faith sends a praise to who knows where.

"LadyViolette!" Geoffrey and Faith say in unison as the girl comes into the room. Geoffrey and Faith both breath deeply as Geoffrey's strength is rejuvenated. "Thank you Lady Violette..Now then. We all need to figure out what happens next. It appears we have won momentarily, but I can only assume that this is not over...yet.." Geoffrey says.

Faith walks slowly over to the group, wondering how Altair is adjusting to seeing.. She hopes Stryker is following, but the psychic type is worried about putting her own feet in front of her.

As Faith arrives next to the others, she awaits further orders while trying her best to stay strong, all the while, she Wishes that she could have enough strength for the entire group..

Geoffrey looks back and forth to all present, and, he is glad to see that everyone is alright, but he fears for the worst. But..then again, when does Geoffrey ever not fear for the worst?

[Fenrir]

Altair blinked rapidly as he could suddenly see...himself? His second realization was that blinking did nothing to his vision at all. As he reached out and grabbed Geoffrey, trying to figure out what was going on, Altair figured out he was seeing through one of the other Player's eyes. He paused, moving his arms around, wielding the dagger, so that he could figure out which one was him. So that's what I look like? Altair cried in surprise when his source of vision leaped into the air, and giving him a bad case of vertigo.

As Altair grabbed the ground, he saw through Faith's eyes as she lit the fumes in the building on fire, and the enemy Noise, or at least that's what he assumed the purple and red thing was, evaporated. "Geoffrey! What, what happened? I...did we win? Geoffrey, who's vision am I seeing through right now?" Altair's mind was a blur with questions, made worse by the fact that the other Players, now that he could see them sort of were clearly all friends, based on how they worked with each other. He was alone amongst them, and would have to trust them to not leave him behind somewhere...

The Second Day

The Players wake up in the middle of a crowded cave. On second glance, it's actually a street, and Players from Diamond Kingdom would recognize this as the central market of Fraer. Once again, the Players have been strewn haphazardly throughout the intersection, and those around them completely ignore their existence, walking through them if the Players don't step out of the way. It's strange, you don't remember even falling asleep, one moment you're in the Vineyard Warehouse, the next you're waking up on the floor of a cave, feeling well rested, although disoriented.

The majority of the market stalls are set out in one direction, the Players being near the outer edge. If you're looking at the markets, to your left is a tunnel which leads to a different part of the city, and Diamond Citizens will know that it leads towards the theatre district. To the right, there is a tunnel going towards the Prison, although there are no marks for someone not of Diamond Kingdom to know the difference from the other one. Still assuming they are looking at the Markets, behind you there is one of the walls of the cavern, which has been etched with a mural of Dialga and the Thief from the country's legends. All three pathways have a man in a red cloak standing next to them.

Noise Report: There are several Noise in the area, although they seem to be ignoring the Players, unless the Players mess with them. There are the frogs from before, as well as several wolf-like creatures with blue markings.

     

[Sir Geoffrey]

Geoffrey, the first to wake, opens his eyes quickly, with a jolt. He looks around him quickly, trying to figure out where he is. Is this..Fraer? Geoffrey thinks, recognizing the surroundings, and even some of the people. He looks for Faith, who is several feet away from him at the moment. At first, Geoffrey wonders if maybe he has been released from the game, or that the entire thing was just a game. He realizes that this isn't the case, however, when he sees the other players along with several noise that don't seem as agressive as the others. Geoffrey feels relieved that his body seems recovered from the previous magical stress, so that he could still help if the creatures attack once again.

Geoffrey gets up, standing on his feet, wiping the dirt off of himself, looking around carefully. Faith wakes shortly after Geoffrey stands, sensing Geoffrey's consciousness. She stands up, noticing the exact same things Geoffrey did, without the hopeful thinking. When Geoffrey notices Faith he walks over to her and the two embrace shortly. Geoffrey think together about what their next actions should be, not knowing what the future could possibly hold..

Faith sends a tiny jolt of telekinetic energy toward Altair and Stryker in an attempt to wake them peacefully, and Geoffrey clings his two sewing needles which seemed to have come back to him together, creating a ding of sound that is quiet yet distinct from all the bustle. Geoffrey knows that this will wake Violette up as this is what has woken her up on many an occasion whenever the two lived near each other because of..something..for some reason..the two used to live in closer proximity, however, Geoffrey can't remember, so he chalks it up to different duties.

The two wait patiently for the other Players to stir, always watching the Noise, never letting their guard down.

[Violet Grimshaw]

Violette awakens slowly to the sound of the ping, only to open her eyes to her partner and companion, Cherry. Cherry yips in greeting, seeming happy with her situation despite the fact that she realizes the fullness of it. Violette quickly stands to her feet, noticing that they are now in what appears to be Fraer, however, when she is walked through, she realizes that they are still in the game. Violette looks to her wings. So..Still with this.. Violette thinks, sort of wishing to look normal again..

Violette realizes that the ping that woke her originated from Geoffrey, so she and Cherry begin walking over to the tailor and his companion. As they arrive, Violette is the first to speak. "Geoffrey..as you thought..we are not finished with this.."game". So, what are we to do? It appears we have three places to go..that way..it leads to the prison, right? And the other leads to the Theatre district yes?" Violette says, motioning to the to alternate paths. She then notices the new noise. "Those noise..they weren't there before, right? Do you think they are stronger than the others? Perhaps the "game" gets harder as the days progress..maybe that is how they watch us suffer.." Violette says, now feeling quite angered at the red men who appear to guard their respective paths.

Violette awaits a reply as Cherry scares herself with a shock of lightning..

[Stryker]

Stryker awoke to a ping and an annoying itch on him fore paw. "Nooo lemme sleep...." he mumbled as he rolled over, covering his head with his paws. "And what's on my arm now?" he mumbled beneath his furred arm. Noooo, yesterday wasn't a nightmare I desperately wanted to wake up from... he thought as he rubbed his eyes from the dried tears of last night by the feeling of devoid loneliness and his feeling of being utterly useless. Stryker growled in annoyance, angered with his every thought of depression. He examines his arm on which the writing had formed. I cannot read this to save my life. Faith can you read it? he asked in his head as he scratches his side with his hind leg. "Faith, are you feeling better than yesterday on which you ran out of energy? And I think my fur makes a great cushion softening your fall thank you very much..." he drawled sleepily, opening his mouth in a large yawn, reveling his sharp fangs within his mouth. Whoops, pardon me. he thought, closing his mouth quickly, reminding himself to not scare Geoffrey.

Altair awoke to a mild pressure in his head. It dissipated quickly, and Altair sat up, confused and disturbed. The other Players were talking. Apparently one of the females knew this place. It certainly felt colder than anywhere he had been before. Altair turned towards the voices, and waited till there was an opening to speak.

"Geoffrey? Where are we? I can't feel the sun, are we indoors? It feels like there is more writing on our arms, what does it say? Does anyone else remember what happened after the creature died and that one woman was called off by the other one?" Altair listened as the girl from before explained her theory of some new Noise she saw, he drew the dagger Geoffrey had handed him last time, glad that whoever had moved them had left it on him. "More of those monsters? where!?! Geoffrey, or whoever it was who let me see through their eyes, please share your vision with me again!"

[Sir Geoffrey]

Geoffrey watches as all of the Players walk over to the center location. Listening to Violette's questions and theory, Geoffrey tries to wrap his head around this "game". Geoffrey can't undersrtand how any normal people could truly sit by and watch as others suffer so much.

Faith looks at Stryker as he comes over to the group, feeling sorry for the greif he must feel as a result of the facts. "I'm feeling better actually, and I'm sorry if I offended you, it was just..a surprise to me. And I believe Geoffrey will answer your first question in just a moment Faith says, looking to Geoffrey, waiting an answer, knowing Geoffrey must be under a bit of pressure, considering he is in no way used to this kind of pressure.

Geoffrey listens to Altair's need for answers, and he begins to address everything he can to the best of his ability. "Altair, we are in..um.. one of the intersections of Fraer, which is..um.. the capital city of me, and Violette's home Kingdom, Diamond. Violette..I believe we should go into the market area, since..well.. the four of us know that part of town better than any other. And Altair, our arms say defeat the boss of X; X=54 68 65 61 74 72 65h; T=1000; and once again..incompletes will be destroyed. And, I think you should see the new Noise through my companion's eyes. Faith?" Geoffrey says, now looking to his companion, signalning for her to use her ability once again.

Faith closes her eyes as she places her hands on Altair's. "Synchronize: Sight Sharing" she says, creating the link.

"Now then, shall be begin? Geoffrey says, as he begins walking over to the man in red. "May we pass?" Geoffrey says, his hands shaking, knowing the strength of the solemn red men.

[Violet Grimshaw]

Violette nods as Geoffrey speaks of their next actions. She watches as Faith shares her sight with the man who seems so out of place here.. She follows Geoffrey over to the man, staying a bit behind, being ready to attack if the need should arise, while she doesn't notice it, she has begun levitating above the ground out of nervousness. I hope this doesn't turn out..like.. Violette's mind thinks of the different less than happy outcomes that could turn out.

Cherry, noticing the depression in Violette's demeanor, sends floats in between everyone, and she attempts to send a rainbow magical leaf to Violette as a gift. "Cher Cher! Cher Cherrim!" The floating Pokemon says, trying to confort her partner, not realizing that she had actually launched an electric ShockWave that would shock everyone in the general vicinity..

the red cloaked man barely moves, just barely turning his head towards Geoffrey.

"Want past this wall? Then defeat these Noise:" The Reaper hold's out his hand and two of the wolf-like Noise materialized, one to each side. The wolf Noise stare down the Player's growling angrily, although they deffer to the Players, allowing them to attack first...or to walk away, if they so wish. The other two Reapers remain unmoving at their own paths...

Altair frowned as Geoffrey read off a string of numbers. What the reverseworld could they mean? At least the last mission had had words in it to guess with! Altair felt the strange disorientation when he shared vision with this Faith. He really was in her debt, and he turned to look her in the eyes, despite the fact that his didn't work. "Thank you, Faith. I cannot express just how thankful I am for this."

Altair watched, through Faith, as she stared at the Noise around them, which seamed almost docile, in stark contrast to the way they had acted the previous day. What had changed? Altair was curious, but what was much more important was the red cloak who spoke, summoning two of the wolf-like Noise from the air. Is that what the angry woman from yesterday did? These people are truly powerful, to create life out of thin air... Altair raised his dagger once again, ready to fight these summoned monsters if needed. "Geoffrey, what do you think? Based on their growling, this kind of Noise wasn't there yesterday, so we don't know how tough they are. Is this what the other one from yesterday did?"

[Stryker]

Stryker was in the middle of another yawn as Faith apologized to him. "-Ahhhm. Bleh. Doesn't matter, I still have much negativity to everything right now." he huffed as he scratched his belly. Yes yes, another human town, of which is in another human populated place, in another place of which I have no idea where it is. Nothing new at allll. he thought as he stood next to Faith a few pace away. He licked his lips, wishing he was back and enjoying a full meal of fresh or fries magikarp back at his home. But nooooo, I had to die and play in a torture game created by a human person. Yep, no fish for me, that's too much asking me. he thought sulking, shaking off the shockwave launched by a grass type. I would be surprised, but anything can happen here. Why not turn me into a human as well huh? he thought, oozing negativity as he absent mindedly watched a man in red summon two wolf noise. "Perhaps I should turn negativity into something useful." he mumbled as he stretched his back, attentive to the noise in case they attacked.

[Sir Geoffrey]

Geoffrey lets out a gasp as the creatures appear. We..have to fight those..Oh my..Oh my.. Geoffrey thinks, wondering what the creature's abilities consist of. Geoffrey's first inclination is to just flee, to just run as far and as fast as his legs can carry him away from here, but he can't. Geoffrey knows that it is his own obligation to stay, to help these people, to aid the ones who so blindly look up to Geoffrey as some sort of leader. Even Violette seems to look to Geoffrey for further instruction, despite her ranking equally with him.

Faith nods to Altair before looking at the creatures. "They..appear more powerful that the others..but..we should be able to handle them, right Geoffrey? There are six of us. Faith "says" to her master, trying to reassure him.

Geoffrey thinks about his next course of action, looking to Violette and Altair, noticing their readiness. Geoffrey begins to speak, hoping that his decision is the right one.

"Yes..it appears this is the same spell the other woman used..and I believe if we work together, we can win..Okay..Violette, if you think you are able.. you can take the one on the right. And the rest of us..will..take the one on the left..I guess..No. We will. Do you all understand? Let's begin!" Geoffrey says, ending stronger than he began.

Faith nods again as she turns to the creature to her right, forming an orb in her hands. This Psychic orb that she is forming has an attractive Psychic energy within it, hopefully making it less likely for the creature to dodge. If the creature doesn't move out of the way in time, which is likely, the orb should launch the wolf-like being into the air with a blast of purple energy.

"That's good! Now, let's go!" Geoffrey says as he throws another of his sewing pins with string attached at the creature, hoping to pull the thing to the ground should the other player's attacks not work.
