Prince Altair;; The Reaper's Game
Yes… Of course he would call on other people he supposedly "knew." He was running of course, running as he followed Geoffrey's voice. The voice that was now calling to people he himself knew, but Altair didn't. The 15 year old boy growled softly to himself. No no no. It was already a big step for him to trust this one person. No way was anyone going to make him trust a whole lot more. He made a note to himself to pull Geoffrey aside and to talk to him about it. He wasn't going to be a part of this group. He didn't know how this "game" worked, but he wasn't going to let ANYONE ruin it for him. Even this nervous, gullible, idiot.
When Geoffrey ran into the wall Altair ran into Geoffrey's back. He gasped as all of the breath (once again… if that is truly possible for one who is dead) to be knocked right out of him. He gasped and doubled over in pain. Thats when he heard the reaper saying something about passing and stuff, and the glass-like sound of this "wall" shattering. Having absolutely no Idea what just happened Altair allowed himself to just lean on his knees and catch his breath.
He thought about the Frogs that were behind them. Wondering if they were able to follow and wondering if they were about to be caught by them. He shivered as he felt the pain of the acid flank blister his leg. He couldn't do anything about it at this current moment. His ears were constantly open, listening to the area around him to make sure they weren't going to get attacked by anything or otherwise. He also listened for the other players. While it seemed that most everyone else knew each other from the start he couldn't hear any voice out of the players that he at all recognized.
"What… Now…" He gasped at Geoffrey. "I… Need a… Weapon…"

Geoffrey cries out as his body hits a wall. Then, his body is hit with the full speed of another, Altair to be exact, and Geoffrey screams out yet again. He almost falls over, and he would have if it wasnt' for Altair's presence preventing it. Oww..Why did someone put a-- Geoffrey thinks before being interrupted by the words of the man in red. When the man speaks of conditions and passing, Geoffrey wonders why the wall was even there in the first place.. He steps into the vineyard as he looks back at his friends.
He calls out to Faith, trying to get her to hurry along, considering her partner now seems to be in a mode of running.
"Faith! Have You have a partner now, I'm glad." Geoffrey says as he nods to the dog. Dog? That's a..Oh my..That's an arcanine..Oh my..He's so big..It's okay..No worrying..No worrying..It's not like..His teeth are super..sharp..or anything..Oh my.. Geoffrey thinks as his breathing begins to increase in speed. There's a chance the young man would have fainted if his companion didn't show up next to him.
When Faith here's Geoffrey's call, she feels relieved to hear a voice other than Stryker's for a bit. She was beginning to get annoyed at the "Arcanine's" almost proud attitude. She begins to speak, anwering the questions he gave before. :Scyther, We are in a game, this game is completely unknown to me, however, I believe my master, Geoffrey believes that we are in the Kingdom of Olivae.. About your village..I wouldn't worry too much about it..considering everyone in this game..is dead.. Now then, I think I'll get out of this mess. Faith says as she uses Teleport to not only escape the tadpoles and get to Geoffrey, but also to escape any gloating from the bug type about winning his "Race".
Geoffrey takes one last look at Violette, who seems to be asking permission to come and help her friends. Since when did Lady Violette start caring about Odette's feelings... Geoffrey thinks as he turns to Altair to answer his need. Geoffrey smiles as he reaches for his bag, which he was taking home from his job in the kitchen.
"Here." Geoffrey says as he pulls out a very large kitchen knife and hands it to Altair. "It's not like..I was going to be needing that anyway..Death has a tendency to do that.." Geoffrey says as he tries to ignore the giant dog-like creature that could be leaning over him by now. With a look of..resolve maybe? Geoffrey steps into the vineyard, hoping that perhaps solving this game could allow him to see--
See who? Geoffrey thinks long and hard about who he has, other than Lady Violette, in his life that he looks up to or admires. Geoffrey thinks for as long as he can, yet he can think of no one. Could it be..That I truly am alone? And is there truly no one I have..to look up to? Geoffrey thinks as his mind grasps the sadness involved with that.
Geoffrey, what are you saying? You have me and Lady Violette. And you yourself believe that Sir Justice still lives, and you have looked up to him for as long as I've known you. Faith "Says" to Geoffrey through his mind.
Sir..Justice? What are you talking about? I don't know any one named..Justice.. Geoffrey thinks to Faith, trying to remember if perhaps he has forgotten.
Sir Geoffrey, have you forgotten? Justice? The man who, in your own words, "Saved you life for the better"? Or.. Perhaps he cannot..perhaps..the "fee" to play this game..doesn't need to be a physical item.. Maybe..
Faith..I know not of who you speak.. Besides, we must push onward, we must try our bests, to win this game and succeed. Otherwise..we may be stuck in this world..for the rest of our eternal soul's existence.. geoffrey thinks to Faith before stepping further into the vineyard and looking around, examining everything he possibly can.
Within the Vineyard Warehouse are crate after crate of wine, the smell of the beverage permeating the air. From the doorway, the Players can see that there are five rows of shelves, each shelve extending to the back wall, where there appear to be doorways to the actual vineyard. The shelves are equidistant, except for in the middle, where there is a larger gap, allowing for an area to congregate. Each shelf has a number on it, starting at the left and going right: 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. The building appears to be empty right now, as even the frogs do not seem to be within the large open space, although there is the sound of footsteps from the opposite side of the shelves, although the crates block any vision of the person making the sound.
As Geoffrey steps inside the building, the timer on his arm fades and disappears, as to the timers on everyone else's arms, and the notes about the mission itself, leaving no mark that they were ever there to begin with.
Outside, while the number of Noise remains greatly reduced, there are still a steady stream of them chasing after the unconscious Odira, and now Odette as well. They will need guarding if they don't wake up soon...
As the arcanine skidded to a halt at the doorway, he padded in and sat down. He looked at the human named Geoffrey whom the gardevior regarded so highly of and smelled an emotion. How come he smells sad? Perhaps I shouldn't scare him. Yet. he thought scratching a bothersome itch behind his ears with his back paw. He looked down on both his arms, seeing the strange marks fade away. "This doesn't mean we're done am I right?" he barked quietly and sadly, standing up to get out of everyone's way. He swallowed a hard lump near his throat, looking around himself, distracting him from the hollowness of being alone. He truly did not know any pokemon from his kingdom, or any that lived in his village. I suppose I better hope they find a good replacement. he thought as he watched his partner and the human with envy. So I guess I am the one who is alone here. How long will this game last? An eternity? he thought, closing his eyes tightly. At least they have a bond. Even if he is a human I suppose. Shan't hold resentment here. Anyone could die at any moment.
Altair grabbed the blade Geoffrey placed in his hands, glad to finally have a way to defend himself. A large body of heat ran nearby, and sat beside Geoffrey, then barked, no doubt saying something in the pokemon tongue. Altair cursed his inability to see for the third time that day, and listened, determined to not be sneaked up on like before. There was definitely someone else in the building, farther in, but other than that he was forced to rely on these others. All of them seamed to have a friend present except him, and he was realizing that his only hope would probably be to rely on this Geoffrey for his survival. Or whatever counted for survival when you were already dead...
He'd love more time to think on that, but right now he needed to know what was up with the mission. "Geoffrey, what's in the building. It feels like a large room, but it doesn't sound empty..."

Geoffrey looks around the Wineyard as he inhales the intense smell of wine. So this is from where all our greatest wines come.. He thinks as he looks at the shelves spread around evenly. Geoffrey looks to his arm as the markings cease to exist. He looks forward, trying to spot any of the frogs; none are visible, however, the sound of someone else's presence can be heard.
Faith looks at Geoffrey, awaiting further instruction from her master while listening to the voice and thoughts of her partner. I don't believe that we are anywhere near done, Stryker..But, I wouldn't give up hope just yet. And, if I were you, I would refrain from scaring Geoffrey at all. He is quite easily shaken. Faith projects her thoughts to Stryker before hearing the voice of her master.
In an answer to Altair, Geoffrey begins to speak. "We are in a sizeable wine warehouse. It appears we were supposed to get here..because..well..the markings on our arms..they're gone..And..There seems..to be someone here with us..who is not part of us..behind the wine shelves..There are six rows.." Geoffrey says, not knowing what to do exactly. He wishes to move onward, however, he is afraid because of the sound of the footsteps.
Faith holds out her hand as she steps forward, hoping to solve her master's dilemma. "Fairy Wind!" Faith calls out as she blows a pink gust of wind upward toward the ceiling. "Psychic.." Faith says calmly as she "grabs" the gust of wind with her ability and forces it the the far end of the warehouse.
With the drop of her hand, Faith forces the gust to the ground, and, finally, with a pulling-like motion, Faith brings the gust back toward the group with and incredible force. Faith uses her own miniature Imprison to prevent the gust from blowing the group back, however, the gust would blow any person or moderate sized Pokemon back to the front wall if in the gust's path.
"Good idea, Faith" Geoffrey says as he sees his companion's calm take on the situation. Geoffrey watches carefully at each row of shelves to see if there is any sign of movement.
Listening to his partner, he sighed sadly. "Easy for you to say. You weren't put into a body with a type that you fear to a degree. Geoffrey does seem easily shaken. Wonder why." he muttered as he examined the shelves. "Anyways, if you can read my mind, why don't you see how my village looks after you're done? At least all you have to care about is a singular human. Not that 30 pokemon are hard to watch after." He muttered, looking at the human. Humans are odd, and I've only seen and heard of evil humans. Perhaps I should give these humans a chance. Our goal is to get out of this game alive. By the way, I wasn't paying much attention to the human who forced us here, did he say anything about only one group can win? he asked in his head, watching as the gardevoir proceeded to use two moves in hopes of dragging something out from hiding. Humans are odd creatures. Tell me, how did you come across this one? he thought, inferring to Geoffrey.
As the wind blows through the warehouse, the smell of wine permeates the air even more so, overpowering your nose, and more sensitive Players may become a little nauseous, particularly if they have limited experience with alcohol. There is a female cry of surprise as the wind blows a woman from behind the shelves, her pink hair blown around her face. She catches her balance and turns towards Faith and the other Players.
"You insolent Players, how dare you!?! I was going to make this quick and easy, but now I'm going to make you suffer!!!" The woman throws her hands out, and that liquid that the Noise were made of coalesces in her hands, before shooting out into the room in the form of a grey porcupine with huge red and black spines.
This new noise shoots it's spines at the Players like a hail of crossbow darts. While the Noise attacks the Players, the woman begins flying in the air, hovering near the roof as she watches the Player's struggle. {NOTE: THIS IS A BOSS NOISE. TREAT FIGHTING IT LIKE YOU WOULD FIGHTING A PLAYER}

You are not the only one who lost something as a result of this Game Stryker, and I have seen your village.. Truly, I am happy to know that those Pokemon have a place to stay because of you, however, they are not the concern at the moment..And..I don't believe the man said anything about only one team winning..but..if that truly is a rule..I'll gladly give up myself so that Geoffrey can live..Although..It would be in your best interest to hope that rule nonexistent, as such a decision would end in both of our dooms.. Faith says, projecting her thoughts to Stryker.
Geoffrey and Faith both watch as the woman is blown, along with an intense scent of wine, back toward the group. Geoffrey's nostrils can almost not take the aroma and he feels light headed for several moments. As the woman speaks of her plans to create suffering, Geoffrey takes a step back in fear. As the hedgehog creature forms, Geoffrey's breathing increases its rate once again. "Oh my..Oh my..That hedge hog thing..it's got..really big spines..oh my..ohmy.." As the Noise launches the spines toward Geoffrey, his first reaction is to run, however, he quickly needs to do something, as there are others counting on him.
Before Geoffrey can mentally tell Faith what to do, the Psychic type begins forming a group of Magical Leaves. She orders each leaf in a circle, creating a sheild of sorts, protecting the group from harm, although, two or three spines pierce the sheild, rendering the Leaves useless for attack..
Geoffrey, in the flurry of motion, thinks of what to do. "Altair, there is a Sandshrew like creature with spines attacking us..it's spines are super scary..and..I'm going to move you to safety..so..just stay still..And..you.." Geoffrey says, addressing Stryker without looking at it fully, already too afraid of the other creature for more frights.."You may either run, or fight, and you'll understand that, when the time comes. Geoffrey says, not revealing his plan to the dog like creature..
Geoffrey looks to Faith, and, with a nod, the two know exactly what to do. Geoffrey grabs one of his sewing needles and enchants it with Destiny Bond energy. He quickly throws the object at the creature in hopes of hitting it. Regardless of if the creature dodges the projectile of not, Geoffrey hold out his hand as Faith puts her own hands on Altair's shoulder. "Hold on, Altair!" Geoffrey says as he commences his next action. "Ally Switch!" Geoffrey shouts as a pinkish light switches the creature and Geoffrey in the blink of an eye. Geoffrey, as fast as he can, runs into the corner of the building for better assessment. At the same time, Faith does her part. "Teleport.." Faith says as she teleports Altair and herself to Geoffrey's spot in the corner of the building.
Although Faith is worn from her already using two moves, she still manages to launch one final attack, albeit slower than normal.."Misty Terrain!" Faith calls out as she puts her hands on the ground. As the effect begin, a sticky pink substance begins to form as a wave moving slowly toward the creature. If anything is caught within it, they will be restrained.
Geoffrey now stands, watching, hoping that maybe Faith's partner will attack and help the group out. Geoffrey tries to assess himself, trying to see if his transportation has drained him or not in the flurry.

"Great. What if something goes terribly wrong there?" He muttered out loud. As the putrid scent of strong wine filled the air, he retched and gagged. Can't breathe. he thought trying to breathe through his mouth, under his bright yellow fur, feeling highly light headed. As he tried to recover, he squinted at the new boss noise. That lady is out of her mind. he thought as he watched the sandshrew-like creature emerge. As the creature shot spines towards them, he braced himself for a hit that did not come for Faith had used Magical leaf as a shield. Smart. he thought as he examined the creature closely. As Geoffrey addressed him with fight or flight he stood up taller. Of course I'll fight, why wouldn't I? Right after this stench lessens. he thought as he watched the human child and Faith teleport to safety. He stood to attention as the human and creature switch places. As they group got to safety, he prepared his attacks. As the creature got stuck in the pink substance, Stryker used agility to speed himself up, to avoid any damage from the creature's spikes and to attack in quick succession. As he 'flew' and hit the thing, he used double team, aiming to confuse any response from the trapped thing. And what about the angry lady thing? he thought as he landed in front of them, facing the Noise.
Altair felt lightheaded from the power of the wine in the wind that hit his face, and almost fell over from the instinct to wretch. But he managed to catch himself, and listened as Geoffrey prepared to do something with the Psychic pokemon who was apparently his friend. "What about the angry woman, Geoffrey?" Altair was frustrated with being so helpless, but before anything else could happen, there was a hand on his shoulder, and he felt a strange vertigo, and suddenly sounds were coming from the wrong places. From within the surrounding darkness, Altair heard the voice of another Player, or at least he hoped it was a Player, pointing out if things went wrong, and Altair raised his dagger, already committed to the failure of the strange man's plan.
"Geoffrey, I'm no use if my enemy isn't right in front of me, I need to know where the Sandshrew is, and wear the woman who was yelling went!"
As the leaf barrier catches the needles, they stick thanks to large barbs. The Noise makes no attempts to avoid the thrown needle, and is hit by the Destiny Bond. When Geoffrey switches places with it, the Noise makes a surprised cry, and lashes it's head back and forth as though trying to clear it's head, before bristling it's spines and firing several towards Geoffrey, Faith, and Altair.
When Arcanine dashes at the Noise, he doesn't have much room to accelerate, thanks to Geoffrey switching places with it, but he has enough to 'fly' at it with a fair amount of force. The Noise doesn't even try to dodge, although it flinches when he hits it. No matter how fast he moves, however, Arcanine can't avoid his paws having to touch the ground, where he becomes stuck in the pink sticky stuff Faith created. The Noise is also stuck in the sticky stuff, surrounded by a ring of fallen leaves, which still have large barbed spikes stuck in them. Arcanine is outside the ring, but still close enough to have a front row seat as the over-sized needles begin to flash and flex strangely...
Above the Players, the woman is flying near the roof, watching with an evil grin, like a cat playing with a mouse, but otherwise not even moving like she intends to take part in the fight.

Geoffrey is glad that he doesn't have to go through the experience of the draining of his technique. However, something disturbs Geoffrey. He decides to verbalize his concerns while answering Altaire's question, knowing that the poor man must be very frustrated with his situation.
"Altair, if you really think you can fight without your eyes.. Well..we are now in the corner of the building, and the creature is in near where we entered...but..well..there's a bunch of sticky stuff in between us. The woman..is flying..she has wings and she is flying above the rest of us, right around where the creature is. Faith, my companion's, partner is an Arcanine who is fighting up close to th--Ow!" Geoffrey shouts as he is apparently hit by an unknown force.
Faith speaks telepathically to Geoffrey. Geoffrey, you still have a bond with the creature that Stryker just attacked, are you okay?Yes..I'll be fine..here.. Geoffrey "says" to Faith as he touches his companion, shifting his bond to her.
Continuing his previous thoughts, Geoffrey begins once again to speak. "It seems I forgot one important aspect of my abilities. But, that's..done now.. What I'm worried about..is..how easily the creature takes attacks..and how sure the woman is of her creature's abilities.. If she's so sure..that it can defeat us..then the thing..has to have other abilit-- Faith!" Geoffrey shouts as he notices the spines coming from the creature once again.
Faith looks to the spines, previously tuned into Geoffrey's words. She doesn't have the time to make more Magical Leaves. "Confusion." she says, lifting the spines and throwing them at a speed only slightly slower than their original at the woman.
Geoffrey sighs as his companion saves them from further injury. Geoffrey once again looks to his companion, who seems more in sync with the situation than he is, and creates another plan of action. Perhaps this method of existence originated from Geoffrey's many years around.. Geoffrey can't seem to remember where his tactics originate..but he seems to feel that the plan-oriented mindset he has is not his own originally..
Regardless, Geoffrey and Faith both nod to each other as the pair starts their next move, their minds both understanding the other's wishes. "Altair..Faith is about to do something to you..that might shake you..but I believe it is necessary if you truly wish to help..But..we'll need your help if this next step doesn't work, plus..it should be one sight to behold."
"Synchronize..Sight Sharing Faith says as she once again touches Altair's shoulder, connecting the pair's thoughts. If Faith's will wasn't strong enough, Altair's senses would have been synced, however, Faith's will allows her to let Altair see what she is seeing. "Teleport" Faith says after letting go of Altair, still keeping the synchrony in place.
Faith teleports to into the air, several feet above Stryker and the creature. "Trace." Faith says as she copies Stryker's ability. She creates four Will-O-Wisp orbs in her hands which rotate slowly, and she uses her Psychic to increase the speed of the rotation, making the flaming purple orbs appear to twirl as one ring. With one last pulse of Psychic energy, Faith launches the form down toward the pair of combatants. When the ring hits the pink solidified mist, and explosion ensues, one whose blast wave covers the entire warehouse because of the intense amounts of wine vapors. The intense pink and purple flames are very hot and the heat especially rises toward the ceiling.
"Imprison" Geoffrey says, as the barrier forms just in time for the blast of the explosion to be avoided. Geoffrey stuggles to keep his barrier up, and he falls to his knees in pain, as he is exceeding his limits. Faith wishes she could help Geoffrey, but she is struggling to make out what just happened, as her eyes adjust to the brightness of their new settings.

As he let his feet touch the ground, the sticky pink stuff Faith had let loose trapped him quite near the grey noise, and heard Geoffrey shouts when he had hit the thing with aerial ace. Though outside the leave circle, he saw the spikes still stuck on the leaves, start to flash and flex grotesquely. Might want to fix that... he thought as he tried to shuffle away, but remain stuck in place. He looked up for the weird woman, glaring at her while she watches them fight the hedge-hog like thing. He watched helpless as the noise shot more spikes towards the group, and set his jaw as Faith's confusion redirected them away. You are one smart pokemon. Stryker thought, envying Faith's ability to take command. He ducked his head under his arm, trying not to breathe in the stench of wine. He looked up as Faith teleported above him, copying his ability, which he still did not know. His eyes widened as she used four will-o-wisps as rotates them slowly at first, increasing speed a bit later on. He shut his eyes tightly as she launches the fire ring down towards them. After the explosion, he expected to be burned, yet felt comfortably warm. He opened his eyes to find that he was in the middle of a rather large bit of pink and purple fire. He widens his eyes as he watched the human holding the barrier weaken. "Faith are you alright? Your human looks like he's in pain." he barked, surrounded by the flames, finally able to breathe normally. He stood poised to catch her if she fell, while keeping an eye on the crazy woman above.
