Latias flew down from the sky, diving like a Pidgeot hunting for fish, and stopping just short of the ground, her wings catching the wind and creating a buffeting blast of wind, blowing the grass away in a shock wave. As she landed, she looked out across the island; there were none of the buildings from the dream world, no temples, no markets, no Colosseum. Just a huge expanse of grass, trees, and sandy white beaches...and in the far distance she could just make out the small huts of the ones who had stayed. Many of them prayed for Cresselia to return the dream world to them, but others worshiped her father, praying for him to help them build a new home here on the real island. Latias wondered why the some of the Darkrai priests had chosen to stay, but she wasn't too worried about it. Daddy will take care of them! He's back now, so he'll make everything better!
Speaking of which, Latias turned back to the skies, watching as her father and brother descended behind her, lagging behind as she had rushed ahead, enjoying the fall at speed. Latios was flying fast; he like falling quickly too, but he liked to actually fall, and catch himself later, whereas she preferred to fly downwards. Her dad, always looking cool, was simply drifting down to them, his wingspan blotting out the noonday sun. Mom had also been invited, as had Aunt Ho oh, but they weren't actually with them, so they would probably arrive later, if they showed up at all. Latias wasn't worried though; she was happy to spend time with her father for the first time in so long. As the others landed, she smiled happily at them.
"That was fun! Isn't the island beautiful! What with the buildings being gone, it's almost like back before Daddy went to sleep! And the beach is clear again!" Latias spun around lightly, enjoying the wind currents her family had stirred up in the open field.
