Get Magical Powers
The Damnation;; Rituals
There are several upon several types of rituals they can be rituals of the light, rituals of the dark, rituals of the forgotten. Rituals can be performed through straight up spirits, dreams, magical items, potions, art, and more. The thing about rituals is what your ritual is aiming for, depending on the aim may change the requirement of the ritual, if anything goes wrong with a ritual your character could become a monster whether it is the caster or the one to have the ritual being cased on.
The firs most two important things about any sort of ritual is what is the sacrifice and the goal? Is the sacrifice strong enough for the ritual goal? If it is a summoning ritual is the boundaries strong enough? Is the caster truly strong enough? If you plan to do a ritual on the site please think of these things before pulling it off, make the comparison and think with common sense and possibly hindsight. If there is to be a ritual performed a staff must be notified and they will decide the outcome of the ritual. Please when the character starts to use their powers to have the post stop so that the staff may fill out what happens during the ritual. If there is a plan for another character to interrupt and ruin the ritual, let that staff know so they will not complete the whole ritual's reaction and ending. If your character pulls a ritual in a thread, you have agreed that the staff can potentially curse or maim your character if they feel it fits the outcome of the ritual. As such do (or be at) ritual threads at YOUR OWN characters RISK.
Summoning: There are several things to be played in a summoning ritual versus any other ritual. Those rituals are most deadliest, possibly to be the one summoning ritual to destroy the whole roleplay site. If pokemon are summoned on their request your character is less likely to die, if the pokemon summoned was forced to be summoned then if the ritual is a fail that pokemon could potential eat the very soul of its summoner maybe even all the characters.
Transfer: Transfer is to take one character's power and move it to another character, an example would a character is blessed/cursed with a gift, with this ritual you can force another character to have or share this blessing/curse. The transfer can be used to make a character stronger, giving he/she more powers. Transfer rituals are usually done by force, which would require specialty black candles a pentagon and possibly blood sacrifice. If the transfer is done through acceptance it can easily be done through saying a certain magical phrase at same time.
Bonding: A ritual of bonding usually calls upon the help from a certain Deity, depending on the Deity will determine the sort of bond made. These rituals will change based off the Deity and main goal type bonding.
- Cresselia or Darkrai
[li]Hoho [or Lugia - usually never ever Lugia][/li]
In order for this ritual to work the physical form of Lugia/Hoho must be there and willing to give gift of bonding to the character at hand. If the character succeeded in earning the deity's trust and gain the bond the first pokemon they see will be the one they can speak telepathically with, the one they share pain with, the pokemon's power they can use. If the strength of magical power and sensing is based on the character and pokemon's bond. If the pokemon dies, on a dying wish the pokemon can send all its power to the character it bonded with so that the character will inherit that pokemon's power and weakness. It is possible for the power from the dying pokemon to be so strong it can cause the character to transform into a gijinka or pokemon.

The Deities;; Blessings
To some a blessing can be a gift, to others it is but a curse. At anytime by any Deity, yes even minor, a Deity can grant any character a gift. This gift has to be based of connected to that Deity's territory or domain, an example would be Palkia the God of Space, can manipulate space all around. If a character were to be given a gift it will have to related to space. Now it is up to the Deity's Staff Rpier (and accepted by Ginger] what that gift can do and what it takes from the character. If one was to gain the ability to manipulate reality, they will gradually lose grip on what is really reality. With certain rituals blessings can be removed and possibly fixed, but otherwise it is up to that rpier how often the character uses the gift and how often the gift uses that character.
In order to receive a gift the Deity has to be willing to give the gift, if the gift is forced out of the Deity it is possible for that gift to have so many flaws it could kill the character if used once. The best way to earn a gift is to "search" for a temple of place of worship that the deity sometimes visit. Give that deity offerings, praying, and be willing to make a sacrifice of anything. If the deity feels the need he/she will appear and possibly give that character a blessing right there or give that character a mission or quest he/she'll need to fulfill before being granted the blessing.
If the Deity is disturbed by a character, when it is resting or in battle, it is possible for that deity to force a curse on the character that disturbed it. The curse can be anything related to that pokemon's power, it can also be a blessing.
Just don't screw with any deities... They'll screw you.
The most important thing about blessings and curses is that your character's child will inherit them, depending on how the curse/blessing is placed upon your character. If the curse placed skips every other generation, then well every other generation gets whatever curse it is. The Deity will inform the character in riddle whether the curse/blessing is inheritable and if so how/when.
The only way to break, control, or get rid of blessing/curses is by doing a ritual, getting a certain item, by getting the deity who put it on you to take it back or get one of a stronger {possibly similar power] deity to remove it.
The Birth;; Demigod
It is possible for Deities to mate and give birth to hybrids or new breeds of pokemon. If this were to happen to a human then that hybrid would be called a demigod and they would have specialty powers. If the deity stays in a certain dimension such as Palkia, Dialga, or Giratina, it is possible for the hybrid to be born and raised in that dimension with his/her parents unknown to the world that every other character lives in. If the child is a rarity for that specific deity it is possible for that child to be chosen for a sacrifice for another deity or for that child to be recognized highly among the deity community. If the deity that help give birth to a child commonly breeding among human/pokemon then usually that child would be put under the both human and pokemon, as if they are a monster meant to die. The more destructive the hybrid the higher the chance for a deity to step in and create a prophecy to destroy that hybrid.
If a hybrid has a child the child will be weaker than the demi-god, and the further down the heritage line the weaker the greatgrandchild would be. If another deity gets evolved and has a child with that weaker child then the bloodline will once more strengthen but with the power leaning more toward the newest deity addition to the bloodline. If certain deity blood is mixed with other certain deity blood it would cause a child to die, be cursed, go mad, or possibly two conflicting powers that could actually force the child to have serious controlling issues. If a child of a hybrid is too strong the deities and fate will try its best to kill that very child, anyway it can. The world comes first before this child. It is possible for some deities to sympathize and help the child this however is very rarely and usually for that Deity's entertainment.
Staff will keep eye on all hybrid or children of those hybrids to prevent overpowering. We will do this by trying to cause Deity's to curse that character or creating prophesies to destroy that character, or if it is totally out of hand ban the character from the site. Remember every character on the site is a main character of their own story, your character is not the only main who takes over everything.
