A day in the marketplace

[Odette Nevermore]

A maroon hair girl was wondering the marketplace, she didn't really get out lately, probably because she spent so much time with her friend Insanity. She missed Justice, she just never seemed to have time to go and hangout over at his Inn. She dreamed of doing it at night, but it just never seemed to happen. During her little free time she had decided that shopping might be best option to relax and enjoy the day, maybe if she was lucky she would run into Justice her love.

This day she wore a simple white dress to enjoy the warm summer weather. Due to this simple design many of the marketplace merchants were treating her like a normal commoner, putting most of their focus on the flashy people walking by. This did not bother her at all, she was too good in a mood and just needed some fresh air.

Shadow walked into the market wearing his usual and trademark dark leather coat with his sword strapped to his back. His hair was a bit bedhead but he didnt really care all that much since after the tournament things for him died down a bit. He had joined justice and worked in the inn he owned as security just incase anything were to happen. He enjoyed thee quite life and it gave him time to visit his love and to reassure her that he was fine and all was well. He made sure that when he had to leave her house he went through the market to mix in with the crowds.

As he was walking through the market he saw a few things he needed and went into the local traders store to get the suplies. He bought some sharpening stones and a few crystals that he could use in his collection he had started.

Odette started to enjoy herself so much she was not watching where she was walking. The girl turned this way and that in the enjoyment of perfect day and daydream, that she bumped into somebody dropping all her stuff. "I am so sorry." she said bending over to pick up her things to realize she recognized the person she bumped into boots.

She raised slowly to see a guy with a sword on his back, carrying items as well. One who wore a dark leather coat and messy hair. "Are you.. Did you? Where you at the tournament a few months back?" she asked cautiously not sure he was who she thought he was.

Shadow purchaced a few more items and out them into the pockets of his leather jacket and put on a new swordsman fingerless glove with simple designs on it and a slightly spiked shape crystalines on the knuckles for melee attacks. He exited the show with the items and he readjusted his sword on his back as it had been put slightly out of places from all the hustle and bussle of the market. SHadow soon walked near the outerish part of the main market and stand in a clear section to look at the near setting sun.

Shielding his eyes from the sun he was unable to see a girl walking near him and he near about falls over when she eventualy bumps into him spilling all her stuff. "its alright let me help ya" he said as he rebalanced himself and crouched to gather her items. when he heard her mention the tournament and he stood up holding the items he had picked up. "yes i was, my name is Shadowfang" he says "and what might your name be milady?"

She was glade for his help picking up the items she had dropped. When all the items were picked he had answered her that his name was Shadowfang and then he had asked her name. She blinked a few time not quite understanding what he was saying, when she had realized he had asked for her name she gave a smile. "Odette! Odette Nevermore! Nice to meet you Shadowfang!" She looked around the area wondering which way to get back to the castle... She knew the streets, just she forgot where she was... "Say, do you know where the castle is?" She asked not really sure anymore where the castle was located at all.

Shadow handed her back items with care to be sure they were all fine. "nice to meet you Odette" he said politely. he looked around a bit to get his position and looked on how the sun was setting and he got his berrings on where they were. "i do would you like me to take you? the streets arnt the safest places around as much as they used to be " said in a soft tone showing he has had some personal experience with the subject. "i can take you to the inn close by it so you can be at the castle by moring if you like" he offered as looked at her.

Inn? He mentioned an inn and her head peeked up in interest. "You don't happen to know Justice do you?" she asked suddenly curious if this random guy actually knew her true love. She felt her heartbeat quicken at the thought of meeting him once more... The last time they met they had danced all night long surrounded by such odd pink fog... They were thrown into a music box and just she never felt the same since that night talking to him. He had to be her prince charming, he had to be. Who else was destined to protect her, dance with her, live a common life with her? She knew if anybody could free her from the curse she was under, it would be her true love prince.

"i might know of a Justice that works at the inn i am speaking of" he says now interested in what the lady he offered to help. "what kind of guy is he to you?" he asked as he lead her in the direction to it and making sure noone was around to try and mug them. He watched the area and would use his ability to check corners and areas the peaked interest while he lead her, As he lead her some of the crystals in his swordsmen glove and in his coat glowed faintly as the moon rose across the sky. "huh thats new" he said as he noticed the faint glow.
