Connor walks out on the street, noticing that there aren't any forms of transportation here. He wonders why there are no wagons or buggies around him, as he's been used to seeing them near the detective agency. For his first time working a case, he doesn't seem all that interested, as his attention is on his surroundings and the area he's in, fascinated by the way things run. He watches carefully as all the commoners simply go about life, none of them fretting about the lack of food, but just moving along in their daily lives as if nothing is wrong. perhaps that is how they handle stress? They pretend that there is nothing wrong despite the facts he thinks as he looks around for his mentorg, who is nowhere to be found.
Master Holmes.. why did you do this to me again? he thinks as he remembers lunch time, when, after using the restroom, the table he was sitting at was vacatel, left with a note from the grand detective saying that be would meet up with his student later, by Happenstance leaving Connor with the check..
Now, after digging in his pockets for the money, he searches for his mentorg, who was fully able to pay for his own meal.. Connor continues walking, feeling a wave of shame fall over him. Oh dear.. I've forgotten the address.. my my.. what to do.. I do hope Master Holmes won't get upset.. he thinks, trying his best to picture the note which Sherlock also happened to take with him when he left..
Connor continues to walk down the street, searching for anything familiar, or anyone familiar as he wonders where the great detective has gone off to.
