Insanity watched as his little plan worked. Her emotions started playing tricks on her and getting her to believe in something totally different then what was really actually true. She hesitated and his eyes hovered over her eyes as she thought over his words. She had said the letter "I" maybe three times by now. He was getting a little irritated, but he didn't say or do anything to interrupt her thoughts. As his plan could be working. However he wasn't sure, because he hadn't ever tried it before. He was directly manipulating someone's thoughts and emotions. He didn't know how dangerous or how modifiable it really was. So until she had responded to him, it seemed as though his intent staring was intended to intimidate rather then the real reason of interest.
"I'm sorry, I did not mean to. You are such a good writer. Sorry, Insanity. I did not mean to steal Odira or Odile from you. Along with changing your original character creations." He let out the breath he was holding very slowly as he realized his trick had worked. She bowed to him and apologized. Even calling him by his name. Insanity. Had she read that in the book? Drat… Oh well, nothing he could do about it now. It didn't even matter anyway. Now that he had her attention, he had to get her not to tell anyone about him. That would cause lots of problems. She continued to apologize to him. It was kind of comical. Just a little bit, but he didn't laugh. He was too upset. However, his expression did soften a little bit at the compliment. "I am aren't I?" He walked over to her and gently put the palm on her back. He was insane, she already knew that, but perhaps he could control her in a new way.
"Maybe I could… Give you a character to write about and you could show me what you come up with? Maybe I could teach you to write and draw better then you do? I wouldn't mind that at all." He smiled at her. This smile wasn't so kind as the dove's was. The bright yellow eyes wouldn't allow that to happen as they were naturally the scariest part of him. But it wasn't as crazy or cruel as before. He reminded himself that she was much like a young child, perhaps she never had that time to grow fully and completely. Perhaps not… He would have to treat her differently. How interesting how each of the three swans saw a different Kane. It was his kind of game it was.
