If time is an Illusion..[mod]

[Justice]

Justice walks along the road he has been traveling on, his feet beginning to grow weary. Thinking about the time he spent helping that old elderly couple makes Justice wonder if he really is spending his time wisely. Justice thinks about how he could have just passed the pair by and gone on with his business, and he wouldn't be nearly as tired now, and he wouldn't be in such a rush to get around. 

       Time..Justice doesn't know why, but something about the day just made him think about the value of the time he uses up. Justice thinks about the day on Diamond Mountain, when he was visited by the God of Time, and how incredibly eye opening that day was, and yet, Justice still feels that he himself is squandering the time he has underneath his hands. Justice thinks about the fact that his sister has already taken Crystal for herself, but also Stryker's home, and without any effort whatsoever; and what does Justice have to show for all the time that took? Nothing but an inn  that still hasn't even been completed yet, and one loyal Pokemon that a human couldn't possibly rely on for a rebellion. 

       Justice feels a wave of urgency flow over him, as if he needs something to be done, as if he hasn't done a thing in the past weeks and now he must. Justice, after looking about him to make sure that he isn't being followed or watched by any other beings, reaches for his bag and pulls out an orb or sorts. Justice remembers buying the orb before studying it, and now he knows exactly what to do with it. Justice grabs the orb with his hands and watches it as it subtely glows despite the sunset's bright light. Justice holds the orb out in front of him as he speaks.

       "I summon, Dialga" Justice says before looking around him, wondering if the orb would actually work..

Dialga stood behind Justice, simultaneously bored out of his mind and irritated beyond human belief. The mortal had actually done it. He'd gotten a once in a lifetime conversation with not one, but two deities, and then apparently forgotten to ask something so important, it warranted summoning the god back against his will. This was going to be excruciating for him. He would make sure to extend the favor back to the young would-be king.

As Justice looked around, he looked the god clean in the eyes, failing to see Dialga for no other reason than the god willed himself unnoticeable, effectively invisible. It was one of the perks of godhood, and he took advantage of it more often than not. As Justice raised the orb above his head, he called out, summoning the god to his presence. As soon as the man finished speaking, Dialga coughed slightly, but succinctly, making his presence known.

"Ahem...Really? 'I summon Dialga'? Short and to the point, I suppose, but you're usually so much more dramatic...regardless, you summoned me, and here I am. Now what do you want. I have places to be, and unlike my brother I can't teleport myself half-way across the continent in the blink of an eye." Dialga was only inches behind the man, making his height work for him, looking down on Justice, his sword held in front of him much like his brother did his cane; Imperially, with both hands resting on the pommel. Anyone with common sense would be able to tell the god was not in the mood for pleasantries.

NOTES: Dialga seems cheery today..

Justice was almost surprised by the deity's appearance, as he wasn't sure Dialga would want anything more to do with him after his lack of success in his nonexistent rebellion. He almost chuckles at the comment about his method of incantation, but he doesn't, as the Lost King doesn't need to read body language to tell that Dialga is less than amused by his being summoned. Justice turns to the deity and speaks clearly and with a definitive tone, yet his voice is still almost light and friendly despite his company.

"I'm sorry if I wasn't In character, but I wasn't all that sure if the summoning would work any other way. It took me weeks to find any literature about these orb mechanisms, and it took even longer to decipher them.. although I understand the reasoning behind not making them in a common language.." he says, his mind drifting back to the joy he never found in decoding ancient texts..

"Anyway.. what I want... Well.. you see.. in my course of my travels, I've been.. No.. sorry.." he says, trying to stop himself from lying.. something he didn't even expect himself to try before a deity. Why did I even.. he thinks before sighing, a flash of red disappearing from his eyes. He begins to speak again. "Well..I've recently been thinking about the progress I've not been making against my sister.. who has been making more headway against my rebellion than I ever wished for, and all before I even started it.. and so.. I summoned you to ask for.. power. I know that there is a war coming.. and I know that my resources and abilities are slim.. so, I request from you power.. but not just power.. as I'm sure many a man have come to you requesting just power.. for nothing but selfish reasons.. but.. Well.. perhaps I am selfish.. but regardless.. I don't just want power; I want, the power, of means. Power that will give me the means to win over what I truly believe in my heart to be darkness, and power that will give me the means to protect the ones I love.. and, power that will give me the means to do that which is necessary and proper for our world, through my judgment, and my own ability. Power that will hopefully give me the means..to save the world.." he says, his eyes almost sparking with the mature evolution of enthusiasm. He hopes Dialga doesn't take what he requested as some silly gainful request, and he hopes that Dialga doesn't decide to harm him for his request, but since when has Justice cared about what happened to him? Justice thinks about Grace, however, who sleeps calmly in his backpack, and he hopes with all his heart, that if Dialga does decide to reprimand the lost king, that he'll spare the one closest to him if it's the least he can do..

Ah...power to save the world. Well it was an excellent choice, all things considered. Proof that he had the heart of a true king. Now if only he would grow a backbone.

Dialga rolled his eyes as Justice once again spoke at great length before getting to the point. Justice was probably the longest-winded human Dialga had ever had the misfortune to be summoned by. As Justice went, Dialga took notice of the beginning of a lie before the man thought better of it. Good riddance. it was hard enough getting information out of the man when he told the truth!

"Yes, I could give you such a power. And because you have me held here by that orb, I don't have the option of saying no. But before I just hand it to you, I want to make something clear; my brother will know about it. Our agreement is no direct help. This is why, though I've taken steps to assure you've run into powerful allies, I've never given you anything directly before. The fact that I don't have a choice doesn't change the fact that I'd be breaking that agreement. Which means my brother will be free to directly assist your sister in like to what I give you. Are you ready to face that consequence? There is nothing you can do, Justice, that will make this fight truly easier...but taking this power will radically change your trip to that fight."

Dialga made no attempts to hide the frustration in his voice, but at the same time, gave non-verbal ques that taking the power was a beneficial choice, and there were merely consequences that he wanted Justice to be aware of.

NOTES: to be, or not to be.

Justice isn't surprised at what Dialga's response is; to be honest he was pretty much expecting it. Of course, Justice had already weighed the risks of asking for power, and he had already thought about the fact that if the policy is balanced scales, Palkia could act in a way opposing Dialga, but that didn't really affect Justice's choice.

Dialga must have assumed that Justice already had his choice figured out, as he's seen what is to be in all it's various forms, and the Lost King is sure Dialga has heard him speak why he is about to many a time, but as Dialga knows, Justice isn't one to keep his heart quiet..

Justice begins to speak, hopefully yet not likely without boring Dialga. "Lord Dialga.. I had assumed that the terms would be these, and I have pondered over them many times in my head, and never once did my decision change, and perhaps you've seen that already.. I know that this might not truly aid me in defeating, my sister.. but defeating her isn't what I wish to do.. rebellion may be a necessary ploy to get to my sister and ease the process, but I don't plan to stop Camellia with Violence.. No, I plan to stop my dearest sister.. by doing everything in my power to convince her to change.. because I hope.. No.. because I know she can. And.. beside that point.. Camellia isn't, in any manner, the only problem this continent faces, if even the most important.. for I'm sure the both of us are wholly aware of the impending darkness.. or.. darknesses.. which could destroy our way of life.. so.. the power I request is not only for my own flesh and blood.. but hopefully, if Fate wills.. No.. If the Future, wills it.. Also for our world.. So.. I accept.. the means to a hopefully fortunate end." He says, trying to contain his emotion.

He waits for a response from Dialga, and, he hopes that what he spoke of.. of Camellia, and of the "right", will one day come to fruition..
