Tis shall be my place to dump out poems that I had worked on in previous years. Enjoy the poopy poems and illogical stances
~~~~~
Magikarp, magikarp, gyarados.
In the past, I have been weak little Magikarp
Splashing all day long, leaping through the sky
I leaped passed crystal clear rivers that cleansed my heart
And through the cold ocean I leaped up high
Until one day I reached a place to call home
A warm lake near a peaceful forest.
I stayed there for a while, licking a honey comb
That fell and came to rest
Until that fateful morning when a bird alighted down
Onto a rock a peered into the water
And started to eye little weak me, who had gained some pounds.
Reaching into the water, the bird plucked me out
and hopped to the bank.
Desperate to live my happy life I flailed and pound
On that tiny bird head until my strength gave out.
As I felt hopelessness run me cold
I evolved into mighty Gyarados, strong and old.
Scared off the bird, and filled with rage
as I swam towards the village
I attacked without mercy
as I left the ruins pillaged,
I Swam back to see
my beautiful lake waiting for me
I spent the rest of my days
Calm, like an angel for all to see.
~~~~~
Dreams and answers
How many times had I thought,
What dreams offered and brought
I wondered to myself what dreams hold
Were they in a different world than this place of cold?
I wondered what was in store for the future
Could it help nurture
and make our dreams true?
Dreams could hold many color hues
and places to explore.
Adventures galore,
and monsters to defeat,
in mystery dungeons, oh what a feat!
One day I will find the answer to these mysteries
and that day will be glorious.
