Quietly sleeping high in a tree, lay a rather strange human. He was dressed green and white clothing, edges near the bottom of his shirt looks rather sharp, as if they were stiff and solid. As a beam of moonlight hit his face, showing his handsome features and green hair, he blinks wearily, clearing the sleep from his eyes. What am I doing here? he thought as he sat up from his bough, looking around his surroundings. He had no idea, no memory of what happened earlier today, and knows only the fact that it was early in the night, the full moon shining as the last few drops of sunlight faded. Where am I? I shouldn't be here. he thought as he looked around the garden, confused and a bit frightened not knowing his past. He leaped off the tree, landing softly on the sparkling grass below. Perhaps someone who lives here can help me? he thought as he walked along the gravel path, looking around at the garden. He spotted a beautiful pond, quite near the front of the castle. Maybe someone inside can help me? Or maybe I should appreciate the garden for a bit? he thought as he paused by the pond, bending down to look in his reflection. Was I a human? I don't remember. he thought, peering into the serene water.

Chester wanders out into the garden for a mid-night stroll. He walks a bit, he skips a bit, he hops a little bit too. Chester looks to the sky for a bit, he look to the moon for a bit, and he picks up some olives for food. My my..the night has brought someone new to us hasn't it.. Chester thinks as he walks silently toward the tree, completely out of view.
Chester watches as the young man in green hops out of the tree and begins walking, apparently unaware of his surroundings. Despite his position in the Kingdom, and the fact that it is sort of his job to help the people of his kingdom, Chester's mind thinks only of the fun he could have with this new arrival.
In an instant, Chester becomes invisible, casting not even a shadow on this crisp moonlit night. He floats over near the boy and splashes water at the boy. Then Chester grabs the stolons of some of the grass on which the man stands and creates a sort of tripwire that he will sure trip over. Chester grabs several pits of some less that desirable olives and chunks them at the boy's head, hard enough create flinching, yet not damaging.
Chester, as the finishing touch, mixes in several leaves into a vase of water and proceeds to pour it on the boy's head. Sure he went a bit overboard, but who can know? Not even @lance himself has been able to catch onto Chester's interesting antics.
Chester quickly turns into his feline form and scurries back into the palace through an open window. Chester returns to his human, visible form while inside and comes back out and acts as surprised as ever.
"Well what do we have here? It seems you've come into a bit of trouble. Who are you anyway? I've never seen you here before? Can I help you? Oh, Silly me, I'm Chester Gabriel, the First Knigh and Royal Adviser of Olivae." Chester says with a smirk.
As he was busy watching the water, he was splashed by some unknown prankster, making him sputter and cough as something else tripped him, causing him to fall backwards. While he was trying to figure out what was going on, he was getting bombarded by olive pits aimed at his head. Yet as he tried to find out who was attacking him with pranks, he got water poured over him, flattening his hair, yet cleaning it from the pits that were thrown at him. He spotted a dark shape of a cat, scurrying back to the palace window. He seethed through his teeth as he fixed his hair, standing up from the mess. As he listened to the human, he closed his eyes and attempted to get his hair out of his eyes. "That wasn't very nice you know. You did this didn't you, from the tone of your voice." He muttered in his quiet, annoyed yet raspy voice. Raspy like a bug's, if bugs had voices. "Anyways, I can't seem to remember how I got here. I have little memory actually, if I think about it." he muttered, a bit scared of his predicament.

Chester smiles at the man before him "Excuse me? I am the personal advisor to the king! You think someone of my rank would stoop so low as to do something like this to a person I've never met!? The nerve!" Chester says, almost convincing himself. "I hear that there is a mythical Pokemon that runs around here who has a knack for pranks. Many believe it's a mew, but why would such a creature be here?" Chester says as he looks over the man, pondering what it could be like to lose one's memory..
"Well..if you don't remember anything, I suppose it would be good of me to tell you that you were, at one point, a Pokemon. I could figure out what type and where you are from..but..that would take too long. Besides, I way you look like a human Scyther to me anyway!" Chester says, not knowing the truth behind his statements.
Chester looks over the man, wondering what exactly the boy wants. So, he asks. "So, what do you need? Are you seeking for something? Or should I assume you wish to be tricked by an unknown creature for the rest of the night?" Chester says, with a bit of concern, only a bit.
Chester looks up at the sky while awaiting a reply, all the while wondering how the creature before him has taken his form. Another antic from..him perhaps.. Chester says, his eyes narrowing before looking back to his guest.
"Personal adviser to the king? Your way of speaking tells me otherwise." Stryker said as he listened to the man in front of him ramble about himself and then to mew. "Mew wouldn't be here. This place is too lively for such creature of mystery." he said smiling to himself. "Wait, what. Me, one time a pokemon? A scyther?" He said bewildered. In a way, I guess scyther would fit me. he thought as he looked at the strange man. "How can you tell, if you're so sure if I was a pokemon?" he asked, doubting Chester. "Perhaps I need a place to think. And maybe some food, I am a bit hungry." He muttered as he thought of delicious berries. He felt lost, small and powerless, being in an unknown place, with no memory to help him. "I really want to go home, but what's the point if I have no idea where that is?" he cursed, feeling a bit of hopelessness.

Chester feels a wave of anger flood over him as the boy insults him so. "Excuse me? I'll have you know the king himself chose me personally to be his adviser, so you have no room to speak of my talking patterns!" Chester says, with little emotion as his ego truly wasn't hurt all that much considering the boy made little of the matter.
Chester smiles as the boy asks about his origins. "Well, you see, I have abilities many don't, and one of them is that I know for a fact that you were once a Pokemon. I cannot tell you why, nor would I because of your rotten attitude" Chester says with a playful smile.
As the boy mentions his hunger and his wish for home, Chester smiles. "Well, I can't promise that I can help you completely, I can offer you room and board for a while. But, the emphasis is on can." Chester says as he looks without emotion at the creature before him.
I truly care very little about affairs such as yours, neither is it my job to deal with them, so, either give me a reason to help you, or I will have another guard show you the way out!" Chester says, hoping for a show.
Hikari stepped out onto her veranda, watching the stars, and the garden. Normally she didn't like coming outside at night, but tonight was a full moon, an it was so bright it might as well have been day. It was all rather pretty, bathed in silvery light. As she looked down at the lake, she saw a man who had the soul of a pokemon talking to Chester. Based on the fact that the man was wet and sitting backwards, Hikari guessed that the demigod was up to his usual antics. What, he couldn't have enough fun with the humans, now he's got to torment the local pokemon as well?
Hikari threw her legs over the wall, and dropped off the edge of the veranda, landing lightly in the brush. As she stepped out of the bushes. she called out to the royal adviser; "I see I'm not the only one out in the garden tonight. What are you two doing out so late?"
"Because farmers are corrupt,
and the bandits are corrupt,
and the samurai are corrupt,
then why would anyone risk their lives for anyone!?!
But I'll fight for them! I'll kill all the bandits, damnit!"
"No room? Then how was it possible that I just did five seconds ago?" Stryker asked mischievously. When Chester said something about his own attitude, he stuck his tongue out, "Your attitude may be worse than mine, seeing as you may have been the one attacking me with water and other objects of throwing." he muttered, looking sideways at Chester. "Emphasis on can? If I am too much of a handful, I'll leave. Everything is choice, so whether you wish to help me or not is up to you. Though if you do kick me out, it would make you seem heartless and cold to a little boy like me." he said, a bit sad on the inside by the thought that Chester didn't like him. He turned towards the bushes, hearing shuffling of leaves as someone landed there. He watched as a girl emerged from the bushes, asking why they were out this late. "Late? The night just started didn't it? And I don't have the slightest clue why I'm here, I just woke up, getting mauled by Chester. I don't even remember anything that happened earlier today." he said, feeling a bit irked, not knowing how he happened to be there, where he lived, or even if he was supposed to be a human. I'm just really confused right now. he thought glaring inwardly at himself.

Chester looks at his new acquaintance with sheer unfeeling. I should have just stayed hidden..then I could still be having fun with the little one.. Chester thinks, unphased by the creatures fatal attempt at a joke. When, yet again, the newcomer states the possibility of Chester being the culprit of the practical jokes, Chester once again feels a sense of defensiveness, yet this time is has a hint of boredom..
"Young thing, I wish you'd let that go. I've already assured you that the culprit of such jokes was not me. Everyone in this palace has be played upon by that creature, you don't seem to be an exception, so stop gloating over it" Chester says his words strong, his voice playful.
Chester listens to the reasoning of the boy before him, wondering what the boy is playing at. Switching tactics mid speaking? What a strange little creature.. Chester says as he starts to laugh. His laughter is quite out of place and it seems Chester is not in control of it, until he stop immediately and looks right into the transformed being before him, his eyes completely void of any show of emotion.
"Young man, guilt tripping me, will get you absolutely nowhere, so I'd stop." Chester says, as he raises himself back into a more noble position.
Chester notices Hikari over by the bushes and his eyes brighten. "Hikari! How wonderful it is to see you!" Chester says as he runs to Hikari and jumps around her, wrapping his arms around the girl as if it had been ages since the pair had seen each other. As Chester releases his grip, he graps several leaves from the bush behind them and holds them out in his hand, before blowing them lightly into Hikari's face.
Chester begins to address Hikari's previous question, acting as in nothing had happened. Yes, you see, I was just walking throught the palace when I noticed this young Pokemon wandering through the garden, soaked, and in human form. The boy swears it was me who played a trick on him, but we all know it wasn't me. So, I'm trying to decide just what to do with the fellow.. Chester says, becoming increasingly more bored by the second.
As Chester jumped on her, Hikari remained motionless, her face one of endurance. She had been through such greetings before, and knew she would go through them again. As he blew leaves in her face, she did her best to ignore the make-shift confetti, but couldn't help but flinch as one almost got her in the eye.
"Hey, watch it! You act like you haven't seen me in a week! My room is across the hall from yours, as you well know..." As Chester spoke of the pokemon's plight, claiming that it wasn't he who had messed with the pokemon, she examined the young teenager. Whoever had made him human hadn't bothered making his appearance all that different, resulting in a distinctly Scyther-looking human.
Hikari extricated herself from Chester's grasp, and walked over to the pokemon, her eyes focused on the aura of the creature before her. "Sure you didn't...huh. This is a curse...and it looks like a powerful one two." Hikari turned back to Chester, one eyebrow raised. "So if you did not harm him, then perhaps you could help him? You'd certainly be better at this than I, Cousin..."
"Because farmers are corrupt,
and the bandits are corrupt,
and the samurai are corrupt,
then why would anyone risk their lives for anyone!?!
But I'll fight for them! I'll kill all the bandits, damnit!"
Stryker sat there, looking at the grass beneath him, getting a bit sadder by the minute. He ignored Chester's welcom to the new human, and waited patiently for him to be done. "So I've been cursed." he muttered, looking depressed. "I really don't remember anything." he whispered in a tiny voice. He was trying really hard to remember his past, trying to remember beyond the wide, dark void of nothingness. Who gave him the curse? What was he? Here was his home? The questions whirled in his head, answers never coming to him. Did I have any friends? he thought, wishing he didn't feel so lost, so alone. His spirits drifting lower and lower, with every thought. "Chester was about to kick me out too..." he said, a lump forming in his throat.

Chester flips backward as he begins to walk back into the palace, listening to the two converse. "Hikari, if you want me to "visit" your room, all you have to do is ask." Chester says, turning to show a stunning smile before turning back.
"Well, I don't believe it's really my place to help this one. He must have done something to be cursed..What if I stir up tension with.." Chester says, not finishing his sentence which would have revealed his true origins.
"Although..I suppose I would like to know what this one's done to recieve such punishment. You there, I was never actually going to throw you out, but now, I'm officially letting you in. We shall go to the royal table and feast. Right now. I doubt Sir Aslan will mind, and Lance must comply with the two of us, doesn't he, Hikari?" Chester says with a chuckle.
Chester begins to walk down the halls and, out of "nowhere" appears a small purple cat. Chester looks at the cat and smiles. Just after Chester passes the cat's location in the hall, the cat seemingly "accidentally" pulls down a section of wallpaper which would cover both of Chester's followers in paper. "My my, I think I'll have to get someone to fix that, Hmm?" Chester says as he continues walking.
Hikari noted the young man's deamener sink as he realized how out of place he was. Hikari sympathized with the lad; she too had lost her past to a curse, although in a different matter, and likely from a different source. She crouched down next to him, giving him a sympathetic look. "There, now! Curses come from all sorts of places, but most of them can be removed, given time and the right materials."
When Chester invited the teenager to stay, Hikari relaxed. At least he would be taken care of. It was ore than what she had gotten. As she and the human followed Chester through the hallways, she fought back old memories of when she had first made her way back to the realm of time, lost in an unfamiliar time and an unfamiliar land...She didn't even see the falling drape until it landed on her.
Hikari cried out in surprise as the weight fell on her, and in a moment of panic, she almost let lose with her holy flames. Fortunately for the other two, she returned to her senses before she could draw up enough energy, thank the night sky. She pulled the drape off of herself, and pulling it away from the others, until she saw Chester was untouched. Of course.
"Because farmers are corrupt,
and the bandits are corrupt,
and the samurai are corrupt,
then why would anyone risk their lives for anyone!?!
But I'll fight for them! I'll kill all the bandits, damnit!"
Stryker glared at Chester. I'm pretty sure I didn't anger anyone. Even though I can't remember, I'm very sure. he thought. Hearing Chester declare a feast, Stryker had the look of horror. "But, but-but what if I want to eat alone...." he protested for a bit before he sighed in annoyance. "What if my curse can't be lifted? What if I'm stuck like this forever?" he said softly. "Not even sure if I even deserved it." He stood up from his spot and followed Chester towards wherever he's going to make him eat at. He sees a small purple cat, appearing out of nowhere and tearing down the wallpaper. I have the strangest urge to smack him. he thought, as he was covered in the thing. He let Hikari take it off him, ever so slightly blushing a delicate shade of pink. "Thank you." he mumbled.

Chester walks onward for quite a while, a very long while really, all the way to a part of the palace rarely, if ever used or visited, by humans anyway. Chester often uses this side of the castle as his personal playground. This is where he practices, not only with his battling skills, but also with his..fun. A large window is visible at the end of the hall, and nothing but moonbeams from the lunar fullness of this night lights the way.
Chester looks and turns to the right where two large, very large, doors stand, still and quiet in the midst of the night. He puts his hands on the handles, which seem to have been untouched for quite a while. Chester turns the handes and opens the doors, however, he quickly shuts them behind him quickly, showing only his head. "Now, you two have to wait out here, now. I have..some things to do before the meal can proceed." Chester says before quickly closing the door and bolting it to the frame.
Chester looks at the room before him. It appears that the room was at one point used as a ballroom, however, now, there is a large dining table in the middle fit for a hundred kings. Like the hallway, the entire room is grey and black, the only light provided is the subtle aura cast by the moonlight on the dirty old windows. The table is dusty and faded in color, and the fireplace is charred and useless. The walls have paintings that have been tattered and torn and the rugs have more footprints than fabric. My my..this won't do at all..
Chester sighs before holding his hands together and using his magic in a way even Hikari doesn't know of. Tens, scores, maybe more than a hundred Chesters now litter the room, his energy giving power to them all. Then, with another burst of energy, Chester not only gives each duplication an order, but he also gives them the power to do so, and with that, they all commence their orders.
Some of them change into a more..comfortable form and scurry down to the royal food store and bring back food. Some of them float up the the window, using water brought by others to clean it. Others work together to flip the rugs over, showing the untouched sides which still glow with royal beauty. Other yet clean out the fireplace and replace the old wood with new. Still more clean up the table with a shiner. A few more take the tattered paintings and switch them with some of the more suitable ones in other halls, and even more bring in candles, giving the entire room a beautiful glow..
Chester, now suffering from a headache more intense than he has had in months, releases his power's hold on his duplicates as the last plate of food is being put on the table, and a boquet of orange flowers from the garden being placed in the vase in the middle. Chester hobbles over to the door, now weakening even more. As he gets to the door and unbolts it, he straightens his back and stands as if he is not in the pain he is in.. Chester hasn't put any tricks into this meal, not a one, for some reason, this room means something special to him and he's never practiced his tricks in it, nor has he ever opened the doors as he has tonight, he's merely looked, never fixing, never changing, but that has obviously changed tonight.
Chester opens the door quickly, swinging the doors inward to the room, allowing the fragrance of candles and food to flow into his guest's nostrils. Chester looks proudly at his work, knowing that he was the only one that would know of it, for he had mentioned earlier that he was going to get the servants to do his work for him, but, nevertheless, Chester is happy with what he has done, and, with the motion of his hand, he gives his Hikari and Scyther the go ahead to walk on inside.
"I hope you'll enjoy what's been prepared for you. This room is rarely used, and I thought it would be more secluded here, so we can talk more." Chester says, sincerely for once. He looks into the eyes of those present, hoping for a positive responce rather than one of surprise. Well isn't this a change.
