Geoffrey wanders through the halls aimlessly, not knowing exactly where to go now that his shift is over. He looks to his side at Faith and to his other side, his Meditite. He looks at the walls around him, and it seems as if he has entered yet another castle all together. The way the castle is set up, each section looks completely different from others, especially when comparing rooms. There are enough rooms to last weeks of searching, however, few of them are ever actually used for much else than appearances.
Geoffrey walks slowly as he examines the carpet, the ceiling, the kingdom itself through the windows. Geoffrey secretly wishes to just stay here in the castle, only leaving to go shopping in Fraer, however, the young man knows that his calling is a higher one, and he knows that he cannot stay here forever.
Geoffrey thinks of his queen, he thinks of Kane, he thinks of Odette--All of those people are what are standing in Justice's way. Geoffrey can only hope that he will have completely grapsed his abilities in time for his actions to be of use, for otherwise, why even try?
Geoffrey begins to worry as he thinks of Justice and Violette. Oh dear..I do hope I can help them..Their titles have just been ripped out from under them..I need to hurry and do something..But then again..If I try to work alone..I might have to deal with Kane and Odette on my own..And they are scary separately..but combined with Lady Camellia..Oh my..Yes.. I should definitely wait for Lady Violette.. Geoffrey continues to walk along, completely lost in his consternation..

Camellia was walking through the castle, hunting a very specific person. Normally she would have a guard or servant do the searching, but she needed to keep this plan for ears only. She had no way of knowing if her brother had any supporters in the castle still, and the previous royal adviser was the best person to start with. Luckily for her, he was still rather well liked amongst the servants, and they all knew which direction he'd gone in.
When she found him, he was looking out the window, lost in thought. What is he thinking about? He's thinking about how scared he is of Kane and Odette...and how terrifying you are. His mind is filled with fear. Be cautious Cam; his fear is a weapon, and he wields it well. If he doesn't feint at the sight of you, of course. Cam resisted the urge to roll her eyes at Clovis' quip.
"Geoffrey? So this is where you've been. Camellia looked around, as though checking for others nearby. In truth, Clovis had already confirmed that there were none present. "We are alone, yes? There is something I've been meaning to speak to you about. I've already discussed it with the Guildmasters' Council, as well as with Kane, of course, and they support my plans, but in my experience Kane knows only of the upper class's wishes, and the guildmasters know only of the merchants.
"The servants look up to you, and indeed you seam to...what's the phrase the peasants use? 'Have your ear to the ground'? when it comes to the commonwealth. I want to know how they would feel about this. Can I trust you to keep this a secret?" In truth, Camellia had only discussed this plan with Kane, but she needed Geoffrey to think there were other people who might reveal this secret. If Geoffrey wished to tell someone, he would have no reason to worry, because he was one of a baker's dozen of people who might have betrayed her, and he could hide amongst the other, more powerful faces. But when she found out about such a betrayal, she would know exactly who to come looking for, because only one liable person would have been told...

Geoffrey jumps as a voice alerts him of another's presence. He looks to the origin of the sound, and there stands the one he was just thinking of, along with Clovis, the Pokemon, Geoffrey can only assume, that was originally meant for his previous master.
Geoffrey's hands begins to shake as he looks at Camellia, and his legs begin to feel weak. Oh my..Oh my..Oh my..it's Camellia..What do I do..What do I do..Oh no..she's asking me about..my opinion? On a secret? Can I keep secrets? Faith..can I keep secrets? Geoffrey thinks, partially to himself and partially to his partner.
Geoffrey, I believe you can keep a secret..but no one's asked you to because you become so heartbroken at the thought of revealing the secret.. Faith says, in a way trying to reassure her master.
Right..Okay..I have to say something..I've been sitting here for a bit now..Okay..now..I have to say something..now..now...Now! Geoffrey says, continuously trying to speak. When the words don't come, Geoffrey's face becomes increasingly red.
Brother.. Faith projects as she nods to Clovis before turning to Geoffrey. She puts her hand on his shoulder and she uses her abilities to Calm his Mind. Of course, the effects don't completely get rid of Geoffrey's fears, but they calm him enough to stop him from fainting, which was coming quickly.
Geoffrey looks into the halls behind Camellia's eyes as he speaks. "Umm..Well..miss Camellia..I believe..I could help you with your matter..and..if is your heart's burden...to keep it a secret..it is..only my own duty to keep it as well.." Geoffrey says, believing his own words, yet still scared of Camellia's..

Geoffrey's response was rather pathetic, but at least he had the backbone to answer her. Clovis thought-spoke to Faith.
Greetings, Faith. I see your human is once again the epitome of bravery. Why do you stand in defense of one who cannot even stand for himself?
Camellia, meanwhile, nodded to Geoffrey. "Very good. Now, listen; Crystal Kingdom has developed great sciences in the last few decades, and show no signs of slowing down. While they are no match for the might of our own Diamond Legions, they are no laughing matter. I believe an alliance is in order, and what better way to create a strong bond between the Diamond and the Crystal, than through marriage? I intend to marry King Narcisse and combine the wealth of our kingdom with the knowledge of Crystal. But I do not want to betray the wishes of my subjects, and I feel you know them better than anyone else in the castle proper. How do you you think they would feel about such an alliance?" Camellia's face was a mask of concern for her people's wishes and opinions, although in truth she was merely watching Geoffrey's face for hints at his true thoughts, while Clovis also listens in on Geoffrey's internal thoughts, unless Faith attempts to prevent him...

Faith looks to Clovis, her emotions not peaking quite as much as she would have expected. Normally, Faith would have felt some sort of anger towards him for his comments, but something within her prevents such emotion. Nevertheless, Faith responds, not wishing to say anything that could cause disagreement.
Brother..it is not a lack of confidence that weakens a man..it is his lack of integrity.. Of course..I doubt that is what Lady Camellia would have you believe.. She projects, her thoughts clear yet quiet.
Geoffrey listens as Camellia begins speaking about the kingdoms. At first he wonders why the relative strength of neutral nations matters, however, it becomes apparent what her intentions are rather quickly. Geoffrey's hands continue to shake as he ponders over Camellia's suggestion, thinking about what he could say, thinking about the state of the people.
As Geoffrey begins to try to answer, he feels a wave of thought cover his body. Faith, not knowing what her master might reveal, creates a field of transparent psychic energy around Geoffrey. After a moment of conversation between the two that happens without the blink of an eye, Geoffrey's eyes look from the ground, to Camellia.
Of coursre, Geoffrey's gaze still passes over the Red Queen's, as he can't bear to look into her eyes, afraid that her own gaze might turn him to stone, but Geoffrey's eyes still hold a sort of resolve. Albeit, the resolve in Geoffrey's eyes is only as strong as Geoffrey's spirit, which, at the moment, is fleeing from Camellia, but, nevertheless, Geoffrey knows what he wants to say.
"Miss..Camellia..if I may say what is on my mind..I believe..that the people of Diamond, at least, the masses..would most likely dislike the idea at first..but..from what I've seen of your..abilities..I believe you could easily..convince the people of Diamond that what you have in store for them..is right. Although, I would be careful how you go about things..for while the people here trust you deeply..the people of Crystal..have no reason to believe a word you say.." Geoffrey says, sighing after finishing.
Geoffrey looks to Camellia, this time in the eyes, hoping that he wont see anger in her eyes for hinting at her manipulative nature..

Camellia noticed as Geoffrey's mind was reinforced by Faith, rendering it unreadable with Clovis without an actual attack., which she would not resort to, for obvious reasons. She wondered if this was an intentional act of hiding, or if it was merely a benefit of him being protected from his own fear of her. She would have to be careful, but then again; she was here because she was being careful.
"I see...You believe the people would not like the idea at first, but could be convinced, and the greatest worry would be with the people of Crystal, who would not be used to my rule, or even the idea of being under Diamond rule. I appreciate your candidness, Geoffrey. I believe you are correct that my greatest obstacle would be the citizens of Crystal themselves, but it is good to know such actions would not be well received at home either. As I said before, these plans have been shared with only a select few, and are potentially dangerous if Crystal gets word of it. Please make sure it does not fall into the wrong hands." Camellia looked the servant directly in the eyes, taking advantage that he seemed unable to meet her gaze.

Geoffrey listens to his queen, wondering if she truly believes what he just said. Regardless, Geoffrey is glad to have said his opinion, but he still wonders if perhaps he could have said more.. Geoffrey lightly jolts as Camellia begins to speak again, only slightly twisting Geoffrey's meaning and thoughts.
Geoffrey wonders what the Red Queen could possibly be planning. Wouldn't those plans..need to be known by Crystal? Why is she hiding it from them? Maybe.. Geoffrey thinks, his mind wandering off course. Quickly, Geoffrey gets back on track and begins to answer Camellia, who is now looking him directly in the eye.
"Of course My lady, what you have said is a secret to me, I swear upon it." Geoffrey says, his eyes now gazing at the floor. Geoffrey wonders if the queen has more to say; he hopes she doesn't, but he wouldn't tell her that, now would he?
Faith looks directly into Clovis' eyes, wondering how he could possibly follow after someone like Camellia. She says nothing, however; she merely waits, watching the struggle Geoffrey is having in a simple conversation.
