As the dawn broke through the night, a peculiar bug was watching. How beautiful. He thought. This was Stryker, a shiny, short scyther in charge of this village he helped create. Surrounded by grand, huge trees of all kinds and along with burrows for the pokemon more comfortable on the ground. There were many pokemon living here, some travel, some stay. A few have even started a family here. This started when trouble had brought chaos and disorder in the forest, and eventually he gathered pokemon to live safely under his watch. This place was well hidden from humans, as the forest is quite dense and humans have terrible sense of direction, get easily lost. What will this day hold for me today I wonder? Stryker thought as he stretched his wings to the early sun's warmth.
As the sun rose on the quiet village, the stars began to fade, each one hidden by the bright light of the sun. Except one which kept getting more and more bright, despite the morning light. Then with a blast of wind, it fell into the center of town, hovering mere inches off the ground, and the light faded revealing a small red and white pokemon.
"WOOOOOOOOSH!!! Heeheeehee! That was super fun!" As the diminutive pokemon dropped the last couple of inches to the ground, completely oblivious of the auspiciousness of it's arrival, It began to hop along, humming an ancient tune to itself, and headed for the ramp up to the platform where she had seen the shiny Scyther who was in charge. What was his name, again? Strife? Stalker? Something like that...Victini shrugged as she continued to hop up to the path. She wasn't really worried what his name was, he'd tell her if she got it wrong after all...

"Hm? Wait what?!" Stryker cried out and jumped up from where he sat, surprised as what looked like a singular star turned out to be a small pokemon. The legendary victory pokemon to be exact. "And what brings you here this early in the morning? You could have spooked the children, you should be a bit more careful in your entrances." He scolded the Victini. "And what do you want? Is there something wrong somewhere?" He said a bit panicked. "Or are you here just to chat? Hurry up, I'm hungry." He muttered as he watched the pokemon hop towards him. Talk about a grand entrance. Probably doesn't even know how to be stealthy. He thought trying to not look angry.
"Huh? Oh! I was too load again, wasn't I?" The victory god's voice dropped to a whisper as she was chastised. "I'm sorry...I was just having fun. I'm back from my trip! The forest is nice to stay at, but sometimes I get bored, and so I went to visit Big Brother. But he was sleepy, so I went to his Island of Dreams." At this point, Victini started to get louder again, as she got excited, "I met this one girl, who's head was full of loud noises, and this other girl who's head didn't have any noise in it at all! And we danced on the beach and I sang a song to Big Brother while he slept, and then I came back because I missed home!"
Victini began hopping around the taller pokemon excitedly "And that's what I did for my trip! What did you do while I was gone?"

"Shhhhhh! And who are you talking about? Who's this Big Brother? Have I met him before? Keep quiet, it's still really early in the morning. I'm glad you had fun, I was busy trying to strengthen our defenses and keeping everything in neat order." Stryker growled. At least there isn't any trouble around. He thought. Looking at Victini with a scrutinizing eye, he sighed. "Is that everything you want to tell me? If so, I'll be catching my breakfast. I also hope your outburst was not loud enough to wake up the pokemon here." He muttered just as he heard crying faintly above him. "Oh darn. You should be more quiet, try to control yourself better, Victini." He scolded, peeved at her waking up a baby pokemon.
Victini's head dropped under the chastisement of the larger pokemon, mumbling under her breath "Big Brother is Big Brother. He made the island of dreams and protects the moon..." Then Stryker pointed to the villages defenses. "Oh! I can help! I can help! Let me help protect the village, Stalker! This place is so nice and happy, I want to help keep it safe!"
As the baby pokemon above cried out, Victini's ears drooped in shame, and her voice became quiet. "I'm so sorry, Spike. I'll try to be more sneaky..." Victini waited for the leader's reply, her face downcast from drawing the pokemon's ire.

"So I haven't met him then. An island of dreams sounds nice." Stryker muttered. "I'm glad you want to protect this place and keep it safe. But you still need to learn to be quieter. You have too much energy. Better than too little I guess." he muttered. Looking at the tiny victory pokemon downcast he sighed. "You want to get breakfast with me?" He asked, grumbling. Wonder what kind of pokemon her Big Brother is? he thought to himself, glancing at Victini. "Right after I check up on the baby pokemon, just wait here for a bit." he said taking off in the direction of where the crying pokemon was.
Victini sat down on the ramp where Simper had pointed, and waited as he went to deal with the baby pokemon. After a few moments, she began to wriggle in place, looking around at all the people doing various jobs. "Waiting is so boring! Why can't I help with something...stupid grumpy-face. As she looked around, Victini spotted a couple of pokemon setting up a wall around the village. They were using the branches from dead trees to form a wooden barrier between the central clearing and the outside forest. Victini hopped down to the ground level, Sticker completely forgotten in the moment.
"Here, let me help!" The young goddess reached out with her telekenesis, grabbing all the loose brush in a four acre radius, and pulled it all into a huge wall of brambles and sticks around the clearing, the branches surprisingly silent, given the speed at which they flew into place. In a matter of moments, the village had a meter thick wall of brush completely surrounding it. "heeheehee! I was even nice and quiet this time! Big Brother would be so proud..." What the child-god had forgotten, however, was a door, or tunnel, or any way to get in or out of the enclosure without the use of wings. Not that she noticed, of course.

After quieting down the baby pokemon and its mother, he returned to where he left the little victory pokemon. "Hm? Where she go?" he muttered as he looked around. His eyes focused to where some pokemon were supposed to be building a wall to strengthen the defenses, standing at a very well built wall awe-struck. A well built wall with no entry ways, made by victini. He thought looking at the happy goddess. He sighed annoyed at how much she was trying to help, yet being a bit more of a pain. "Victini, can you make a few entrances for the pokemon who can't fly? It's important you know." He said as he flew down towards her, trying not to look angry.
The goddess turned to the scyther as he flew down to the ground level with her. "Oh, sorry! I completely forgot! I'll fix it!" The goddess rushed to the closest part of the wall, and then in a sudden burst of speed rocketed through the wall in a ball of fire, leaving a smoldering tunnel about 3 feet tall behind. The rest of the wall, however, didn't budge, a testament to the goddess' building skills.
As Victini skipped back through the hole, she beamed back at the green leader. "Is that good?"

Stryker remained in shocked silence. "Erm, yes. That is a very nice job you have done." he praised her. "A very well built wall. Good job, now how about our breakfast?" He asked as he tried to smile at her. This one. So much energy, going to tire me out before the day has even started. He thought as he sighed, inching a bit away from the smoldering hole. "Are you ready for some food? Or are you alright? Because I'm going to fish." He said waving his fellow pokemon good day as he took off towards his favorite river to fish in. It was surrounded by trees, with a rocky bank on each side. The sun would shine at a comfortable spot, warming him as he waited patiently for fish.
"Breakfast!?! I LOVE breakfast! Let's go eat!" Victini danced along, letting Stifler lead the way while she wandered to the sides, speeding up as necessary to keep up with the scyther. When they got to the river, Stickler taking a position to catch a fish as it came by, Victini joined him, taking a similar pose just behind him.
But fishing isn't very fast, and the Goddess was anything but patient. After a few minutes of waiting, Victini began playing with the nearby trees, causing them to sway back and forth, bending almost parallel to the ground before turning back the other direction. Even this was not enough to entertain her for long, however, and soon the rocks had also joined in the fun. Victini herself was rolling her head from side to side as she bent the trees. But this was getting kinda boring too.
"Striper! I'm boooooored! Wouldn't it be faster to turn all the water in the river to steam and grab all the fish from the ground?" Victini turned and began to generate heat, as she was planning on doing just that...

Staring into the slowly moving water, Stryker felt Victini get restless. Hope she doesn't get too jumpy soon. He thought hearing the Goddess play in the trees and rocks. "My name's Stryker or Scyther, whichever you like and no. What happens if you were a fish and your water was gone? You wouldn't like that very much would you? And we need this river, for water and the fish. The fish need to come back, where else would I go fish? Somewhere else?" He asked Victini as logically as possible. He quickly struck into the water and flipped out a nice, fat, meaty magikarp. "You can eat first, be sure to clean the bones and throw them back in. My parents thought that's how the fish come back, so they're probably right." He said looking into the water for another fish for himself. "And cool yourself down, take a swim if you want to when I'm done here." he said looking sideways at her.
Victini stopped short of the river, still glowing and beginning to turn the rocks she was standing on red. "Awww...I hadn't thought of it that way...Poor fishes..." The goddess looked out at the river sadly, until Skipper tossed a Magikarp to her, at which point her face brightened up significantly. With a cry of glee, Victini jumped on the fish, her heat frying it even as she ripped pieces off and ate them, thoughts of unfortunate fish completely forgotten in the rush for breakfast.
"Sorry I got your name wrong, Sticker!" Victini said to her friend between bites. "I'll do better in the future." Victini finished her meal quickly, and then stepped up to the water's edge, impatiently waiting for Stupor to finish fishing so she could swim. It wasn't long before the trees were rocking side to side again...
