»The Tea Sanctuary Intro
[Warning, you do not have to read this, its just something to introduce my shop in a cool way. I know its long, but if you decide to read it you may like it.]
You walk into a small shop that goes by the most interesting name of "The Tea Sanctuary." The shop was quite strange. It was cut into three different parts that all had their own personality. One side was covered in fabric and unfinished hats. The other side was overflowing with colored glass bottles and little decorated cakes. The middle was packed with many different supplies and nick-knacks, like pens, clothes, art suppies, and paperweights. In the back was a nicely decorated door with a sleeping face on the doorknob.
You look around and see no one to welcome your coming. You sigh as you see a few things that could be useful to you, but figure you might as well come back later. Before you leave out the door, however, you begin to hear voices coming from behind the closed door. The voices grow to a state of yelling. Curses and name calling can now be heard, but not much else. Upon the door opening a classically dressed man walked out before the figure of a flying cat. A flying cat?
The man wore a classic black pin-striped vest over a nice short-sleeved white shirt and matching pant. he wore black dress shoes on his feet and a nicely tailored top hat on his head. He had shaggy, brown hair and his deep green eyes held an equal mix of insanity and intelligence. The cat on the other hand was an orange and pink tabby, with a mischievous pair of glowing violet eyes. While the man in front of him had a deathly scowl on his face that cat's danced with a wild smile.
"Dear me Hatter, I dare say we have company and should place our differences aside for the moment. If would be polite of us to respond to our's customer's call." The cat said as it floated over to the side with the potions and cakes, and smiled even wider then before. It takes you a moment to realize that the cat had actually spoken. You heard it with your own ears.
The man who seemed to be called the hatter simply glared at the floating cat as he walked over to the other side of the shop that displayed the hats and fabric. He then turned to you and flashed you a matching grin. "Hello there my friend. What will it be?" He asked you joyfully. "It's highly probable that I could make you the perfect hat--"
"Or..." The tabby cat interrupted firmly. "I can brew you up a potion that will place judgement at your whim."
The Hatter rolled his eyes sarcastically as the cat spoke and took his turn back the moment his companion finished talking. "Some of my hats are special and can work on magical paths that even potions can't follow on." The man waved a lazy hand in the cat's direction. The feline just flicked his tail in a silent reply. Over the course of a few seconds the Hatter seemed to understand an unspoken insult and his expression hardened into anger. You stood before the counter, struggling to comprehend the situation, when the door opened again. A beautiful girl with waist length blond hair and pure blue eyes leaned in the door way glaring at her two comrades. She wore a white long-sleeved shirt with a black short-sleeved t-shirt over the top and dark blue jeans. Her wrists were cramming with bracelets of many styles.
"I can hear you all the way down in the work room! Must I do everything myself? Cheshire, stop doing whatever your doing to provoke Hatter." She spoke with irritation dripping in her voice, indicating that this kind of fight was not uncommon. "And Hatter, do me a big favor and grow up please."
After her commands the girl ignored them and turned to you. She switched her frown into a smile as she walked up to the middle counter. "Welcome, my name is Alice." She said in a smooth silky voice. One that you knew would be able to understand better then that of the other two. You smile at her and wait for her to continue. As she does you notice that she has the most beautiful smile you've ever seen. "I assume this is your first time here due to the fact that Hatter remembers ever face that comes our way. As you can see, we are a shop of many themes. Hatter over here, as he has probably already mentioned, sells hats. Custom hats." She gestured with her hand at the many shelves that are overflowing with unfinished hats.
Then she turned her attention to the other side of the room. "And over here is Cheshire's colossal collection of potions and magic sweets. Then she leaned on the counter in front of her. "Here at my station, I sell anything else that they don't have. Take your time in looking around, and don't hesitate to ask questions."
You nod and were about to step away when a mysterious glint slipped into her eyes, and you begin to wonder whether or not she is really as sane as she lets on. "Oh yeah, and don't mind these mad boys back here, they can be quite contagious if your not careful."
