Change in the Air - (open)

[Andrew]

Andrew ran through the streets, the guard hot on his tail. "Why do I always get stuck running away from people!?!" As he ran, he could hear the guard behind him attempting to keep up, and failing. Andrew had the speed advantage! He almost got excited, but then the guard called for help, and the other guards started to run after him, some of them coming from in front.

"I'm sorry!" Andrew cried at the guard who tried to tackle him, only to be bowled over by a spirit-powered kick. As he continued to run, Andrew wished he could just vanish like he could when he was in the desert. At least he didn't have Desert talking to him in his head. The guy was always complaining about Andrew's choices...and that was when the smoke bomb in his pocket exploded, covering the street in pink smoke and the smell of burnt sulfur.

Back at the alleyway, where Natu and and Nix were hiding, a voice echoed across the town...

"NATU!!!"

In the confusion, Andrew fled into a nearby alleyway, where he hopped to a rooftop and building hopped across town, heading for the nearest exit. As he leaped from building to building, Andrew realized that thanks to Natu, he would probably beat the other two to the meet-up point, and slowed down a bit, taking care to not be seen as he traveled, and stealing a loaf of bread cooling in the window of a bakery. He hoped the man wouldn't miss it...He'd come back and pay the man back when he had the money from the pork-man later...

OOC: you guys take as long as you need/want to get to the meeting point. I'll not post the rest of Andrew's trip, and will just jump back in when you arrive at the old shack (having already been there or arrive after you guys, depending on how long it takes.) also, his scream is obviously NOT a cry for help, so no need to go to his rescue

natu headed toward where the deer pokemon was, waited calmly as the two did the meet and great. She checked the coast several times, she had a job, she will focus, random things when she is not required to protect a fiend to escape a city. When it seemed Nix was ready, Natu waved her over, to a near by ally-way that had much cover and seemed to lead partial way to the meeting spot.

Then from there it was down another ally-way, through an abandoned building. Wait in the building as several guards passed, right for the rowdy boy causing trouble in town. Natu stepped out to the open, no free of guards, motioned for Nix to follow, then led down toward another free opening through the market, past all the nice merchandise. and where she actually originally stole the clothes she now wore... Lucky for the both of them.. The guy still did not recognize Natu's pink hair, and well his product on her body... He technically was still too busy with customers... He was the cheapest, and the poor needed cheap, what did you expect?

reaching a new ally-way, this one of course stinkiest out of all the ones before... Covered in what could possibly be someone's pii. She lead the way, they made it out of that ally-way and right a few houses from outside the town, and toward more safety... When suddenly a load shout sounded NATU!!!", it was obviously Andrew's voice, and it was obviously mad... All seriousness dropped from Natu and she dropped to the ground laughing. She probably laughed on the dirty filthy cobble ground for several minutes, a good thing nobody was on this road, else she would've been ran over. It seemed an awful long time before she stopped laughing, her face red, and tears flowing. Someone would have thought she was a nuthead if they did not know what she actually pulled and why Andrew had screamed the way he did.

Nix stroked tain between the ears and gained a mew from her freind and she smiled down at the little pokemon, right then. Now we are ready to go. She turned to the odd girl only to find her heading down another alley and nix found herself smiling, when this kid wasnt going nuts she was goods company. She nodded and stood up with a hand trailing behind her for tain to keep against should he want to and shadow on her shouler, she started after the other girl. The pink haired girl was quick on her feet and moved along the street with ease, something nix found harder than she would have normally what with tain behind her. She wanted to keep her little pokemon close to her since he was so young but she also knew he would get annoyed and cause a scene if she tried to hold him or drag him. She had to have the stubborn free thinking pokemon, well they did fit her but it was annoying too!

The call of the girls name made nix snap her head around and the on coming laughter confused her, the tone was more annoyed than fearful or scared so nix figured that was one thing but the nutter girl was rolling around on a very questionable street floor. "Sure you wanna be down there?" nix asked as she offered a hand for the girl to get back up, she wasnts a uber clean freak of a girl. With her life, she couldn't be. But that was still gross

With all the laughter all gone, Natu picked herself off the ground and soon started for the secret cabin once more. "We're almost there. Don't worry he should already be there." She gave a giggle at how she said "he" like her bud was some dark lord or something. When they reached the cabin she walked right on in with her dirty self. "Knock! Knock! We're back! So Was boom boom fun?"

Nix followed after the other girl with tain close behind her and shadow even closer to her, she didnt like this girl being in front of her and telling her where to go but she didnt like anyone doing that. Then again, this one was being a lot easier to cope with at the moment so why not make the most of it. The girls words came back to her ears and nix nodded, not that the girl would have seen the nod as she was running on ahead of her any way. Nix could see the shack up ahead of her and so she slowed in her steps and reached a hand out to her pokemon and felt tain brush against her fingers as the other girl shouted out, hopefully the boy was there and she wasnt just shouting this to anyone

Andrew sighed as he sat down in the dust while he waited for the girls to make their way around. It didn't take long. When Natu walked in, Andrew waved the stolen loaf at her.

"Natu, what the hell? At least give me a warning when you stick a smoke-bomb in my pocket! What if I'd tripped? I could have trapped the explosion under me!" Then Andrew saw Nix stepping in, the young deerling behind her. "Ah, that must be your friend! Hello there!" Andrew broke off a piece of the loaf and held it out to the pokemon, smiling welcome-ingly.

"You guys get out of there alright?"

Nix found herself beaming as she heard the voice of the boy from before she she even heard shadow make a soft mew beside her ear, now that was something. Shadow didnt like a lot of people, well she and nix both didnt. That was a good sign. Tain hung back behind nixs hand and she turned to look at him, his eyes were trained on the male and he was shivering ever so slightly. Nix gave a sigh and then bent down and touched her forehead to his and made and soft humming sound, something shadow copied in a sort of purr and the little grass type relaxed. Nix had grown up beside pokemon, she knew their habits and she had seen more than one mother comfort young children so she had worked out her own way to calm their new team baby. Tain broke away from his freind and looked at her before he walked around her to andrew who was now offering him food, he sniffed at it and of course held back a little but he took a few steps towards him just to show he wasnt so scared anymore

Nix ignored him and his bread and then pretty much slumped in the nearest corner on the ground. She gave a quick smile, a random roll on the ground, then sat up the happiest girl in the world. "I bet you all don't know what time it is"." she spoke outloud in the most obnoxious tone ever, like she absolutely knew everything, especially the time. She sat calmly cross-legged waiting for them to turn their attention to her. Course the chances were neither wanted to play this game, but hey was always worth a shot to lighten the mode a tad, but then she was just crazy.

[Andrew]

As the little one slowly stepped forward, obviously scared, Andrew smiled invitingly, not holding still, exactly, but rather not moving, so that there was nothing to startle the pokemon, and he could take as long as he wanted to decide to take the bread. As natu's voice echoed through the building, Andrew sighed, but now that the danger was gone, he wasn't so worried about it.

"Time to not make a big racket?" Andrew asked hopefully.

Nix watched with careful eyes as Tain took his steps towards a male he didn't know, she smiled at this thought in her mind. Tain was young, very young. And she knew she was giving him her own dislikes in life which she did feel bad for but both she and shadow held them so she didn't know if she could change them, she hoped one day she could. In the time it took her to think herself silly, the other girl had spoken and made tain start but the Pokemon was closer to andrew than nix at the time and so he ran forwards and cowered behind the boy. Nix chuckled a little as tains ears poked out behind Andrews, giving him the look of a spare set of ears for a few seconds before tains head appeared above him and then leaned over to take the bread. That's one way to get him to move, though the boys words did make her laugh as he replied to the other girl

She rolled her eyes at her husband, of course he told her to be quiet, he always tells her to be quiet. She felt a tad ignored in the small hideout.. She wanted to do something, go somewhere, and most importantly have all the attention on her. "Well we are all here, let's get out of town. This place is bo-oring, Andrew. I wanna free slaves, steal better tasting clothes, and attack armies... Let's get out of here. Please...." She made a pout face and sounded like a whiny little girl.

[Andrew]

Andrew smiled, petting Tain, comforting the scared pokemon. "Attack armies? Natu, we don't have the resources to attack armies! It's just the two of us! 6 if Nix and her friends here were suicidal enough to help us attack thousands of soldiers... Andrew sighed, Why is Natu always trying to cause a big racket? Why can't we just have a normal, boring, not-life-threatening day for once? Andrew stopped moving for a moment.

"...freeing slaves however...we could do that...we could do that!" Andrew's eyes lit up in excitement as he imagined it. "We could catch a caravan out in the desert, when we could catch them in a surprise attack...cut the chains and make like a Zubat out of reverse world..."
