This was his favorite place to be and to hide. He didn't really care if Queen Camilla saw him here or not, It was his secret too. And yes he would have kept it a secret despite the treasure it held within. It was because of the garden's beauty. He loved how beautiful the garden was. How lovely the shimmering, jewel flowers were. How the gem leaves grew and didn't even need to be watered or anything like that. If anything, this was the place he would go to the most when he was upset or overwhelmed. The latter didn't happen very often, but when it did this was his hiding place. Kane was currently sitting on one of the benches within the secret Jewel garden and was watching the gems shimmer in the dull light that hung across the room.
He sighed softly at the tranquility of the place and allowed himself a small smile. Kane hardly ever smiled genuinely. It wasn't practical for him, and truly, unless the situation called for it with Cam, he didn't really find it necessary. He glanced around the place calmly taking in the sights when he noticed it. On the edge of one of the trees was something black that caught Kane's observing crimson eyes. Frowning softly, the young man stood and walked over to where the black stuff was oozing all over the bottom of the beautiful ruby tree. He leaned over, clearly upset by the ordeal. At first Kane didn't recognize the substance, but slowly it came to mind. He had seen this before. Only once before and he hadn't been paying too much attention, but he was sure that Lucifer had introduced it to him once. He couldn't remember anything that went along with it and he couldn't remember why he wasn't paying too much attention to him, but he did remember that Lucifer had become irritated at him.
The moment he recognized the black blood something inside went click and once again the word INSANITY flashed over his sight and he fell backward in shock… or he thought he did. When he sat back up he looked at his hands which were not only covered in the black blood it was also all over himself and over the tree. Especially around his face. He couldn't understand what had just happened. Suddenly his eye sight started flashing blue and he quickly stood, freaking out. Then he held his head and began to scream in pain and slight fear from whatever was going on. He closed his eyes tightly, as if the darkness could chase away the insanity. But it probably just made it worse.
