Flying Doom [Erra/Lucan]

[Erra]

Why did she have to live here? Why did she have to go out and sacrifice others? Why did she stick with this.. this.. This situation? Was it fear? Was it because some sort of curse she did not know about? Was it fear of the savages living on this island? She wanted to o back home... Home to the Crystal Kingdom... Home with... with.. With what? sickness.... Sadness... Lairs? Is this so called Goddess... Really that? A goddess? Lucifer... Everyone at home... Taught her there were no Gods... That legends were just that legends.. That all who were not human were Pokemon meant to be captured in tiny crystals.. Stored to be used and abused. That all witches should die, for they were worshipers of the Satan, lord of the devils... Yet here she was.. Dressed in this pure white dress, pretending to believe and worship this Goddess of dreams, this Legendary Pokemon that is powerful enough to trap her in lies. A pokemon that prevents her from truly being happy in this falsehood of a world.

Erra felt her body began to shake with sadness and tears... She just wanted to go home... Why could she just not lost her memories? Why could she not blend in? Why... Why... Why did she have to lie? Have to be all by herself...  She drew closer to the window of her room, a window that overlooked a statue of the goddess Cresselia, a window that was probably purposefully placed there so she will always be within the Goddess reach... The Goddess torturing reach. The soul swanna flew to the windowsill and sat down on it appearing out into the courtyard where there seemed to be people gathering for a place of worship. Erra turned away from the window her mind feeling up with disgust. Who murders their own people of worship?

What was the point of sacrificing... It may not be all as it seemed... But it was still not right... Just the thought? Who created this thought? Who created all this... This world... This place... Recently she had dreams... Dreams of a face... A face that was to bring Cresselia down... A sign, probably from the bastard Goddess to just remind her that speaking to the person would just cause that person to be confused and fail his quest. How sickening. A toy, that is what she was, a toy.

It was pointless to just stay in her room all day... It was pointless to wear this silly white outfit... It was all just so pointless... Why could she not speak the truth? Why could she not right now go out and speak to the first person she saw in her visions and tell them everything? Everything on how to break this.. All this.... Just it was frustrating, why did Cresselia do this to her? What was so special about this ridicules illusion that this Goddess created? Power?

Her thoughts just made her feel the clothing she wore seem heavy and nasty... Just plain heavy and gross, she looked around in her room for her cleanest clothes. Her cleanest was located on farthest left hung on a line going across a small section of the room. She quickly picked it off and laid the dress on the bed, then began to strip. About half way naked something... or Someone... began to fly straight toward her window.. She did not notice, too preoccupied by sliding her clothes off revealing a white bikini and pale body.... But Swanna sure noticed, freaked a tad causing the stupid bird soul pokemon to fly right into a near by wall near Erra's bed and blacking out. Which caused Erra to turn to the window with a shocked wide eyed face at the newcomer. Holding nothing and nothing covering her, minus the white bikini.

[Lucan Aurelius]

The pokemon gathered around the shrine appeared sad with their eyes shining with bitter tears. The boy, now a full-grown, sixty year-old man, was going to leave them. They hoped he wouldn't leave forever, and that he would return. They cried out to him, but their 'words' fell on deaf ears. Mr. Claudius, the Armaldo, wobbled over to place his head on the man's chest. Ms. Amelia, the Archeops, perched herself on his shoulder. A momentary silence washed over the crowd like the waves sweeping over the sand of the beach. It was enough for them to just think about how, in their dreams, they saw him leading the people of Somniis to the black shaped named 'Darkrai'. His absence would be a short one, indeed.

Aurelius, kneeling down to become level with his caretakers, smiled to them in gratitude. While he could not hear them, he could see it in their eyes that they were going to miss him. "I shall return, friends. I will try to make this quick. Take good care of yourselves, and expect me back soon." His own heart felt heavy, realizing that these Pokemon, Darkrai, and Cresselia were his family. The boy would never have left them if he didn't have a job to do. But, each word that he had delivered to them held weight; he would return soon, and the kingdom will live happily ever after in the twilight. Wiping a tear from his cheek, Aurelius turned and faced the open sea and the city on the horizon. The pink wings of his mother sprouted from his back, twinkling like stars in the night sky.

Yet, he remembered in a dream that farther upward, the Temple of Cresselia stood. Why should he waste his time on the masses when he could go and convince the Twelve Maidens themselves? His chances of creating change were greatest there. If they didn't work, he'd rally the people together in peaceful protest. Yes, his plan was set. He waved a goodbye to his Pokemon caretakers and flew up into the open blue of the sky, staring down at the open blue of the sea. The cool wind grazed against his cheek, and his clothing fluttered in the sea breeze. Finally, he could stretch his wings beyond the boundaries of the cave. Aurelius grinned in his newfound freedom, and he did a few aileron rolls while flying through the coast of Somniis Island.

They looked like ants when, one by one, they stopped to see the spectacle that was right up above them. The glittering of Cresselia's wings was a sight to behold. Many of them had never seen their goddess with their very own eyes. Half of that number may never see her in their lifetimes. This wasn't their Goddess... it was a man with her wings! They were stupefied at the sight of a boy with these sacred wings. A few, however, went back to what they were doing prior, blaming the sun on this strange illusion about a boy with wings.

It did not take long for the son of Cresselia to speed through Somniis to reach Decoris Island. It was smaller than he imagined, but more dots were lined up along the patterns of the tiles. They were praying for their goddess, too busy to notice the wings of their goddess soaring just above them. Aurelius gazed in front of him and noticed the head of a giant statue of his mother. He lowered his altitude and speed to kiss the forehead in her respect before continuing on his way. An open window welcomed him into the living quarters of one of the priests, but the heavy presence of Cresselia on the island was the heaviest here.

He reduced his speed so that he wouldn't crash into a wall and injure himself before he got to speak words to the first human he would ever meet. Just inside of the living chambers, extremely high levels of his mother's energy smothered the cute girl in her underwear. It was like she had given her a few more blessings than himself... or a few more curses. Really, there was no need to be concerned! The Twelve Maidens were his friends! Casually, with the wings disappearing into his back, Aurelius stepped up to the woman. He had made sure, prior to entering Decoris, that his presence as the goddess' heir overshadowed the presence of Darkrai.

The priest couldn't help but notice her shocked red eyes. 'What was the matter?', he thought. He stepped a little closer to her, creating a space that was only inches between them. She was nearly naked, but that didn't bother him at all! "Good afternoon, miss. You have a very beautiful figure," Aurelius commented casually. From his voice, one could tell he wasn't a pervert, as if the view of half-naked woman seemed normal to him. His eyes widened when he forgot an essential to communication; he neglected to bow and introduce himself before the priestess. Aurelius stepped back so his head wouldn't be hitting her head or something. Then, he dipped his torso forward while delivering a soft smile that could only be found on an angel. "I am Aurelius, and I would like to be your friend. What is your name, miss?"

[Erra]

It had taken a few seconds for Erra to even understand what had just happened, when it finally hit her, she quickly threw on the nearest white dress. The dress she had just taken off and was probably on inside out. She stopped to look atthe guy in front of her to see he was the on recently appearing in her dreams along with another. Her first thought was he should not be here, her second... He was and this could not be good, not at all, he must get out of here and now. She will lie or worst Cresselia may force her to do horrid things to him. "Get out of my room, right now." was all she said, in a cold harsh voice, with her finger and body figure pointed to the nearest exit. She did not trust herself around this one... he was one chosen to bring this place down, he seemed to have an oddity of a life.... He just was not right and was not meant to be here, he must go, and now. Erra did not where this guy came from but he was destined to do whatever it was best her to be faraway with her lies and deciet and just monstricity self.

[Lucan Aurelius]

The boy was confused by her telling him to 'leave'. He did not want to leave so soon. There was no need. In fact, he needed to be here. It was what he had planned. This was supposed to be his starting point, and he wanted this starting point to be a very strong one. He, however, felt that she was uncomfortable with him being around. It was more like SHE wanted to run. He had envisioned that all of the priestesses would be nice. Why was she so alarmed by his presence? Aurelius tilted his head to display his lack of knowledge of a trait.

But, the tilt of his head made him see that the 'something' about him that she had problems with wasn't him flying into her room while she was half naked, but because of something 'binding' her from doing another 'something'. The details were too fuzzy for him to discern the true nature of the spell or illusion. He had to know its effects, which was very difficult to do just from self-conducted analysis.  Another thing was certain, however: it was all his mother's doing. At this point, a normal person would be angry. Not Aurelius, no. The affairs of the priests of Cresselia should be his as well. Never did he realize that things wouldn't be so easy.

To show that he meant no harm, the Demigod raised both hands up. He was unarmed, and a thorough pat-down would confirm this (which is not likely to happen). "I mean no harm. I just wish to talk to you about gods and goddesses. It is a tender subject for many, but I had hoped that you would be one to converse with me about such things. Besides, I still do not have your name. These two things and a third are the only subjects I want to touch. Can you tell me why it is impossible for me to be in this room?" Maybe all of the Priestesses are magically bound by something one way or another? Maybe... his goal should be to set them free from whatever ails them? 

...Too soon to tell. It might also be that maybe he misses his 'family' already.

[Erra]

The intruder raised his hands showing he meant no harm. What was with this guy? Did he not understand she wanted him to leave. He did not act like a pervert or any sort of guy here just to impure a chosen maiden, it just was he... He was one of those... One of the heroes meant to stop Cresselia... One of those guys in her dreams, one of those guys that if Cresselia knew was here, may evilly force Erra to kill him...

Erra tried to stand as tall and scary as she could, her red eyes flashing in dangerous tone, maybe the guy would take the hint. She had her fists clinched to her side... She should run, but he would chase her. He must leave, he must leave, he must LEAVE NOW! "I do not care if you mean no harm, I want you out right this moment. You are safe here and should stay." Damn it happened... She lied... She meant to say he was not safe... Wait, why did that slip out? She was failing miserably.. This was not good... Something might happen... Cresselia would have probably noticed by now, the wicked damn witch.

She looked closely at his face, his golden eyes, his cute innocent face. What was with this guy? He seemed to have the sort of face of a man who would not back off. A foolish male who knew nothing, nothing of the truth. damn him, why did he just "fly" here? Why did he appear now? She was not ready, she knew nothing... He is so ignorant... The bubblehead... She turned away from him as harshly as she could and went out of the room into the hallway. Maybe he won't follow, maybe he won't follow. She thought to herself hope swelling that he won't, when she knew deep down he would.

[Lucan Aurelius]

'You are safe here and should stay?' Aurelius may not have had too much time interacting with people of his own race(?), but he was certain that there was an error in what she had just said to him. It contradicted her request within the same statement that he should get out. His brain started to hurt at all of these contradictions. This was obviously not normal, even by the standards that he had expected out of the outside world. Even if she did actually want him to stay, her eyes meant to intimidate as did her posture.

He lowered his previously raised hands, raising a brow at her awkwardness. Curiously, he stepped a few feet forward. Considering the nature of Cresselia's domain, the spell (or rather, ILLUSION) could have forced her to lie to him. It was too blatant to see that this was the case. Just as he had realized that he could try to help her break this influence around her, she upped and left the room into the hallway. Aurelius figured that he ought to follow her, lacking the common sense of almost all in Somniis that a man following around a priestess of Cresselia would appear suspicious. 

So, he did end up following her out. Stepping out onto the shining floors of the hallway, he attempted to walk at a faster pace than she was. "Wait, miss! I can see what is wrong with you! I'm offering you my assistance with breaking whatever you have, so would you please stand still for just a moment?" It was at this point that he was concerned. Aurelius wanted to help everyone if it was within his power, even if she was a priestess of his mother. If she was watching the two of them now, he would not care so long as he could save people. Actually, thinking about that, a visit from his mother wouldn't be so bad. Though she was the one who threw him into the ocean with the intent of killing him, not once in his 60 years of living have they met in person.

"I'm Cresselia's son! You can bet that my help will be valuable!"

[Erra]

Great he followed her.. She picked up her walking pace, he was still following.. He was still following, why is he still following her? What is wrong with this guy? He shouted at her, what is he even saying? Something wrong with her? What running away? No.. Wait.. How.. Wait what.. No keep going this is for his own protection. She had lots of things wrong with them, and yes one of them was the manipulating witch who cursed her. The witch that cursed all of them. The witch that disguised herself as a pokemon. A witch.. What was with this guy?

Erra found her paranoia growing, she felt cresselia's presence it was all false of course, but it just.. felt so strong.. So real... why was this guy so stubborn? Then it happened.. He shouted the worst words ever.. It almost stopped her in her tracks. No.. No.. No.. Cresselia? Cresselia having a son? that Goddess... Having a Bastard? What? What just happened? Who was this guy.. No this cannot be happening. She found herself quickening her pace to a run.. When the cliche thinkable happened.. Someone carrying a bucket of water got in the way of her run and she ended up running into that person and spilling the water all over her and well knocking both the girl and Erra to the ground.


Erra quickly attempted to get up and run away... She got a little distance, far enough at least from the girl with the water, but of course then slipped from the marble floors and the water on her whole body (mainly her feet). She slid right into a white marble pillar. Pain swarmed all over her, why did this have to happen to her. She looked up everything around her spinning. She wasn't even aware yet that her clothes were see through. "I think I am going to be sick.." she said mainly to herself. Not thinking the guy caught up to her or was near by. Maybe she even temporarily forgot the guy, she did hit her head pretty hard with that slip and slide.

[Lucan Aurelius]

The running pace of the woman was too easy to adjust himself to. The marble hallways echoed as the two made their steps. Sunlight glistened between the columns of marble. Cresselia apparently really liked to make her structures marble. Aurelius agreed that she had very good taste in building material. He wondered, though, where she was able to get so much marble. Bah, it isn't his place to question the methods of the divine on the subject of mundane things such as building.

After the second of admiring the architecture, he positioned his gaze straight forward and noticed another priestess with a large bucket of water. The woman was running right into it! "Look out!" Sadly, it was too late. The nervous priestess fell on the ground like a ragdoll. But, something compelled her to continue moving on. Stopping at the border of where the water touched the floor, Aurelius reached out to her so that she could grab it and he could pull her up. However, she slipped on the water-covered marble and hit her head on a pillar. 

He cringed at the sound of a head colliding with marble, but he barely heard her speak to herself. Aurelius let out a sigh of relief. Thank the Gods that she was okay. Ignoring the bucket girl, he inched closer and closer to Erra. He sat close to her and placed her wet body out in front of him. With a tender touch, the boy's hand slid over the woman's head. "Don't you worry a single minute more, miss. This way, we can talk properly... I hope."

Aurelius pulled Erra up closer to him, holding an arm around her soggy waist. With his other hand, he carried her head up to his face. He leaned in a little closer and closed his eyes. Lacking the apprehension that most men would have with these sorts of things, Aurelius planted his lips against hers. A soft light, Cresselia's light, glimmered around the both of them. In mere seconds, Erra could feel her mind becoming much clearer. The demigod lifted his head up and stared at her with his two eyes; one of them had changed color for a fleeting moment. The sclera shifted to the bright pink of Cresselia's skin(?) and the iris shimmered with the full moon's radiance.

"Are you okay, miss?"

[Erra]

She felt someone shifting her, what the... was all she could think in her cloud state of mind. A soft tender touch of a boy's hand slide over her head... No.. don't.. this is not real... she could not help but think out of pure instinct. He pulled her closer held his arm around her soggy wet wait. Then almost as if she was trapped in some sort of fairy tale he lifted her head up to his face and leaned in closely to give her a kiss. Her mind swirled at the kiss, shock of it being her first, and something else... She could not quite understand it.... But something felt lifted and clear..

She opened her eyes to see the son of Cresselia staring down at her, she could not help but admire his soft face and lips. how... what... When? was this all just a dream... A false reality.. A new low for the Goddess? His eyes.. They changed.. she barely caught it, probably imagined it... She was dazed... Not even sure how to respond.. Maybe she was in shock? Maybe she should start yelling and freak out then act like nothing is wrong. No, this felt good, it felt perfect fantasy. Almost as if she was a Princess and he was her prince, well in a sort of funny way they were, but in reality she knew this was all fake... That this whole situation was probably an illusion some sort of hope of a miracle. He truly glowed and seemed to be just like her... Cresselia... Yet he did not carry her scent of Lily's, but still he held something... Some sort of power she truly did not understand what it was. "I-I... Don't know.." she said in such a low voice she doubt he could have even heard her.

Wait.. Why was she doing this? Reality of the situation seemed to slap her. She was just kissed by her first kiss and Cresselia's son no less, the horror. She pushed him away with a new found strength and determination. "Get off me. You know it is forbidden to go around kissing maidens?" Wait.. Something was different.. Something felt changed.. What did he do! She tried to find it.. What did he do to her.. What did he do.. What did he do.. Was she under a new curse now? Why did she felt lighter? Why did something seemed to have changed. "What did you do to me! You son of a Monster!" She felt her anger surge around, how dare he go around kissing and just. This this.. Cresselia birth of a creature. Probably a fantasy all made up in her room. This better not be real. Cresselia you are going down.

[Lucan Aurelius]

For a few seconds more, Aurelius stared at her pale face with the most innocent look. The social significance of a 'kiss' had not been taught to him once during his sixty years. He figured that it was a symbol of friendship. If he gave her a kiss, then she may have taken it as an offer to be friends. That was great! While its original intention was to break that magic of hers, it could only increase the amount of affection that they could have for each other! Friendship is just pure awesome, isn't it?

She pushed herself away from him and asked another question that brought him new knowledge of the society that he has found himself in. 'You can't kiss maidens'. Apparently, it's a law. Interestingly enough, she was a Maiden. Oh, luck was smiling on him! He returned the question with a bright smile to the Maiden. "I did not know this. I am terribly sorry." He wasn't too sorry. It still wasn't clear what to be sorry for. Aurelius knew little of the Maidens besides their existence, their governing of Somniis, and their worship of Cresselia. Now that he knew that she was a Maiden, however, nothing really changed. The fact remained that he understood nothing of the etiquette required of a commoner interacting with a ruler.

The Maiden seemed furious still, though confusion was more prominent. Aurelius stood up and held out his hand to her, responding to her other exasperated questions with a sing-song voice. "I would not call my mother a 'monster'. I haven't met her myself, but I think she's a nice deity who would want the best for her people. Would a 'monster' want that? As for what I have done to you, I've banished an illusion that, I think, caused you to blurt out that strange comment with me being safe here. You didn't really mean it, did you? Only my mother would evoke something like that."

((Mediocre Post. Lunch Break. Yup.))

[Erra]

He stood up then offered to help her, she of course refused and picked herself up off the floor. Why bother dealing with his kindness? He seemed to have not noticed her rudeness for he soon spoke in this ridicules sing-song voice of how great his Mother was. "Yeah right, her a nice deity? Deities don't exist, she's a witch." she replied in the coldest voice she could master in this wet situation. It seemed to have come pretty easy and a tad harsh. Though it had taken her a few seconds to realize she called the Goddess a witch, that would certainly get her some serious problems if he ran and told the other maidens. "I didn't mean it, our goddess is the greatest of all light." it was too late her words probably meant nothing and she knew it.

A few split seconds passed as something just crossed her mind. "You said strange comment. Do.. No there is no way..." She looked around for something that may be a simple thing she would lie about in this situation, what would work? What would work... "Cresselia is not a savior, she is but a lair." Erra said in a simple tone that grew to excitement. She could say the truth! She could say the truth! She of course said something that would normally be turned into a lie before, but hey she did not at all notice. She began to grow into such excitement and joy she seemed to shake..

A problem then arise, it had the worst of timings, maybe it was the best of timings. This power activates randomly and when it activates gets stronger if she the closer she was around the targeted figure. What this power does can change based on the individual and what Cresselia may wanted erra act around that individual. It could be anything from being a killer to being a friend to an individual. It was one of Erra's least favorite powers, it forced her to become things she did not want to become. It practically locked her control over her own body, sure she gets to experience emotions... But the emotions where merely manipulations and things she could not fight off. This power was not an illusion, it was a pure manipulation of her own emotions and one hundred percent true with deception underneath.

Erra stopped with her harsh cold shoulder and body posture. She seemed to soften off almost a little too much. She turned to look at Cresselia's son with eyes of deep emotion.. Emotion of deep feeling, maybe love, maybe lust, maybe a deception of happiness. "You know, I wanna thank you." She drew closer she wrapped her arm gently against his arm, her eyes still looking deeply at his. "why don't we talk what you wanted to talk about? I would like to hear everything you would like to say. It was just too exhilarating for me when you flew to my room, I guess I just lost it, and became rude. It isn't exactly nice for a male to fly into females rooms when they are in the middle of changing. At least uninvited. But then maybe you didn't know."She approached closer practically touching her wet clothed body against his. It would be best for him to pull away, it seemed the air around her had changed drastically. "You know, your Mom... She is the Goddess of dreams, and something else. Know what it is?" She created circles on his back with her forefinger, she printed to be in deep thought."Would you be willing to take a guess?"

[Lucan Aurelius]

A bit disappointed with how he could not help her up himself, Aurelius retracted his arm and returned it to his side. He didn't care for her tone; she was a Maiden, and she would become a major part of his plan along with the other eleven. For this to work, they had to become his friends. Friendship is appearing quite easy to accomplish so far. Even though she insulted his mother, he could allow this. It was understandable how many people could hate her for being the Goddess of Lies. Lies were an essential part of dreams, which was another one of her domains.

Aurelius smiled at her testing the illusion to see if it was still there. Her insisting on insulting the Goddess was becoming a little too excessive. But, maybe forced worship of Cresselia was part of the nature of the illusion? "Isn't she supposed to be a liar?" He made the comment casually, though there was slight concern in his voice.  Slowly, so that he wouldn't slip on the smooth, wet floor, the Demigod stood himself straight and shook his legs a few times. Water flicked off from his pants' damp surface.

He could feel her excitement at the discovery of the loss of the illusion, and he was excited too. He had helped his first person here, so a metaphorical self-pat on the back was warranted. However, something changed about her. The excitement mellowed down slightly, and her remaining grumpiness was washed away as if she was placed in a trance of sorts. Aurelius tilted his head, examining her. Then, she touched him, placing her arm around his arm. A certain redness covered his face like someone scribbled on it with pink marker. What was this feeling? It was indescribable, almost intoxicating. 

But, it made him uncomfortable. The feeling he was getting from her eyes supplemented his concern for her, as were her movements to get even closer to him. Was this... friendship? She apparently explained how it was 'wrong' to enter a room with a changing female uninvited, and she audibly assumed that he didn't know... to which he nodded. "You..." His heart raced and sweat dripped from his head. Her body made contact with his, wetting his clothing just a tad bit. Aurelius' mouth was dropped to a certain extent, and he was unable to respond to the question in a timely manner. Only approximately five seconds later did he regain the will to speak. 

"She's.... the Goddess of Lies?" Her touch sent shivers down his spine, especially when she drew invisible circles on his back. The air changed around them, almost suffocating him. It was like the feeling he would get when he walked outside the cave on a very humid day. "Are you sure you are... fine? Do you need something else broken? If you... feel like fainting, then maybe we should return to your living unit." Aurelius attempted to put his hands on her arms, but his eyes could not resist gazing into hers. The contrast between her behavior then and now was interesting. He was learning a lot today.

[Erra]

She smiled, a smile that seemed almost too sharp for realistic propertied. "Broken, I am not broken. Is but human emotion of closeness broken?" She moved her hand up as far as she could reach and graceful had it come down the clothes on his back. "Lies, yes and more precisely, deception. As son of Cresselia, you must know all about deception." She gradually slid her body from his, she took a few steps back, her grin seem to gradually soften. She bent forward her her long white hair falling from her back side to the front, the water soaked in by the hair dripping onto the white marble. She had no major breasts but never hurt someone to just be a tad curious at what lurked under the wet white bikini.

"Why son of Cresselia do you believe yourself to be just that? A son of the mighty Cresselia? You may have a great charm but what is the real reason you believe it so." the way she spoke was one of seduction, she really seemed to work ever bit of cute childish charm she had.

By this time the Swanna had awoken from knocking itself out. The swanna felt dizzy for a tad bit as it gathered it surroundings. The first thing it had noticed was that Erra was not in the room... What had happened? It reached out to the girl to find she had activated the curse of visions. This was good very good... The bird could not help but feel it had satisfied its job, but there was something wrong.. A curse had been lifted.. What was this? The bird realized the girl could speak anything she wanted to now... This was not good, not at all. Soon the bird flapped its wings and flew through the walls to its destination of Erra.

[Lucan Aurelius]

Aurelius tried his best to cover up how red his face was becoming with both of his hands, looking her up and down in slight infatuation with her inviting, red eyes. But, he first had to stop himself from gazing at her chest, from which he can see her bra through the wetness. Size was insignificant to him as he had not learned that most of society accepts those larger as more 'beautiful'.
