Growlie the dog.

This is Growlie the dog. 
He is afraid of the dark. AND nightmares. 
One night, he had a nightmare. 
He was being chased by many bears in a dark, scary forest. 
He saw a bright light, far, far away. 
He started to run faster towards the light.
He saw an outline of a majestic deer. 
The deer said, "don't be afriad, little one. Nightmares can be turned into tasty dreams."
Then Growlie woke up, feeling fuzzy and nice. 
Then, he realized that it was still dark, and he felt afraid.
So he went to the lake near his home.
He stared into the unmoving water and saw his reflection. 
Then he saw the moon moving in the background.
It started singing in the background, then it said "Little one, do not be afraid of the dark. I will be the one to light your way."
Then, it sent down a shower of light.
Growlie was feeling safe and warm in the light
He then went home and fell back asleep.
He was in a nightmare again.
He was in a dark cave that was dripping with green, limey water.
A few steps in front of him was a huge, scaly,  black and blue dragon!
It looked at Growlie with its huge, green eyes and Growlie wanted it to go away.
He looked back and he was in a candy store.
The dragon was made of cotton candy and then he ate it.
"This tastes delicious!" he barked with joy.
And he was never afraid of the dark or nightmares again.
