Hikari wondered why Chester was taking them into the delapidated part of the castle, where the rooms were never used and the servents didn't even bother dusting. But she didn't say anything, preferring to keep her peace. She noticed the way the cursed pokemon had blushed, and suspected he had a crush on her, which was unfortunate, because she didn't feel the same way, and even if she had, it would have been a doomed relationship to begin with. He would die long before she did...
While Chester locked them out of the room he planned for them to eat in, she turned to the pokemon. "So, I know you can't remember your name, but we can't just call you 'you' while we try to free you from the curse. What am I to call you in the meantime?" Hikari accepted the offered name, greeting him by it, just as Chester opened the doors, revealing a well-kept room.
"Whoa..." Hikari breathed, examining the room. She recognized some of the art peaces from other parts of the castle, but the room was just so warm...in color as well as temperature. The golden firelight bathed the room in a welcoming glow which was amplified by a beautiful bouquet of orange flowers from the garden. Everything was stunningly beautiful, and Hikari looked around amazed at how this gem had been hidden within the unused portion of the castle. Hikari gave Chester a suspicious look. He didn't have enough time to set this all up while we were outside...did he set this up beforehand? No, the food is steaming warm...
Hikari stepped forward to the table, wondering if Chester would pull out a chair for her, seeing as he was clearly trying to impress either her, or the pokemon, with gentlemanly manners, or if she was expected to seat herself, which she had no issue doing, considering their host's tendency towards fowl play. "I must say, Chester, this is quite the banquet you have here...however have you kept this place secret? And how did you get the servants here on such short notice so late at night?"
