The Mirror Room
Face Claim: Itsuki Koizumi from the Melancholy of Haruhi SuzumiyaAppearance: Connor has deep hazel colored hair which is long enough to cover his face, though he parts it to the side most of the time. His eyes are a deep hazelwood brown and they appear to gaze far beyond the surface of anything his gaze falls upon. Connor's face is rather plain, though he could very easily be regarded handsome, and he look as mature as he is.
Connor usually wears semi-formal clothes, and he almost always appears well kept and highly groomed, something a person could learn to admire in Olivae. Connor is relatively tall in comparison to most other people, and he has an olive complexion not all that rare in the Kingdom of Wine. He is slender and slightly muscular and his fingers appear longer than normal.
Connor is slightly strange in the fact that he has very little body hair..and the hair on his head takes and incredibly long amount of time to grow, as does his facial hair.
Open and Public
Personality: Connor is a very intelligent young man, having learned and absorbed information from many different sources. Being a doctor, he knows much about the physiology of the human body, though he knows very little about the Pokemon world, even to the point of being slightly afraid of some of them. Connor is a very observant young man, and he often takes hours at a time just observing a situation or a scene trying to take in every minute detail. Or course, Connor doesn't need excessive amounts of time to take in a scene, as his quick thinking skills are more than adequate, he just can't take in every detail in quick amounts of time like his mentor.
Connor is also a very reserved being, and he honors others as well as he can, not wanting to do anything to upset others. He has dabbled in psychology and is very good at reading other people and their emotions, and he uses these abilities when interacting with others so that he doesn't push buttons he shouldn't. Despite his caring for others and wishing to speak respectfully to them, Connor often comes off as blunt..
Connor is also very philosophical in his thinking, having taken ideas from hundreds of sources. He puts everything into perspective using the knoweldge and theories he has learned over the years, taking into the picture all that he can to get a better image of his situation. Connor isn't afraid to argue certain ideas, especially when he doesn't believe in them specifically, as he feels it gives him not only a better grasp on his deductive abilities, as well as his grasp of what he could believe.
In reagard to society, Connor doesn't enjoy the ideas of discrimination against women, nor does he in any way endorse the slavery that is so rampant in his country. Connor feels that all people are created equal and that people shouldn't be held higher than others. This doesn't mean, however, that Connor dislikes royals and the monarchy, he merely doesn't enjoy people being forced into their position either by monetary means, or by nothing but gender to decide fate.
Connor holds a deep amount of reverence and care toward Sherlock, the man who has taken Connor under his mentorship and protection, if one could call it that. Connor doesn't understand, and sometimes becomes worried with the various antics of the detective, but Connor doesn't mind it, as he feels that his life was saved by the impulsive man.
The Secret Side of Me
Greatest Desire: Connor once wished to be a doctor..or did he? Regardless of his past, Connor's new wishes for his future is that he could become a detective like Sherlock.Greatest Fear: Connor is afraid of being rejected by Sherlock, as he doesn't have anyone else to turn to.
Greatest Secret: The secret of his father's death.
This is His-story
History: Connor's story begins quite a bit before his birth, his conception even if one thinks about it, as his father had been planning Conner's life for a long time before the boy was even known to exist. Connor's father saved his money that he earned from his medical clinic for years planning on Connor's life. When the father discovered that his wife was pregnant, he was quite overjoyed. While Connor was still in his mother's womb, his father began forming the boy's life for him. When Connor was born, his entire destiny was set in stone by his parents. As Connor grew up, it was completely obvious that he wasn't in control of his own being, and he hated every moment of this realization. For years Connor lived, begging his family to allow him to forge his own path, yet watching as his father decided everything for him, from his beliefs, to his eventual occupation, to his wife, to his house; everything Connor had was completely out of his control.
Connor, at the age of fifteen, was incredibly happy to hear what his father had to say: "You're leaving". Of course, Connor knew that the reason he was leaving was to head to medical school to get the exact same education his father had, and at the exact same school, even with the exact same teachers, and he knew that he would return to live in the exact same house that his father did, and he would work in the exact same practice as his father did, and he knew that he would be forced to believe the exact same things his father did, and he knew that when that time came for him to take on his father's life, he would hate it, but Connor was happy enough to be away from his restricting family.
Connor quickly began to enjoy his life at the school desptie the education being incredibly rigorous. As the years went by, Connor began reading on subjects that he hadn't even heard of as a result of his father's sheltering. He began taking in dozens of different philosophies, and he began to realize what he did and didn't believe in. He began to understand exactly what being under his father's rule had done to him, and he wished to never have to return to his origins.
Connor had a friend in school that was very into some very violent and off base thinking and cults, and this friend realized just how torn Connor had become. The boy became friends with Conner quickly, as they both shared similar fates with their parents. Connor became very attached to his friend, and was very sorrowed that he would have to leave him when school concluded a year later.
The friend, Connor's first and only, left the school quickly and unexpectedly. Connor's only true friend had left him and Connor didn't know why; that is, however, until he received some very grave news. Connor found out that his parents had both been brutally murdered along with Connor's best friend while at a party in the Olivaen capitol. The facts, though inconclusive to the authorities, all pointed to Connor, who had blacked out on that night, the night his friend left him, waking up the next morning with no memory of the night before.
Connor quickly left school, having only weeks left before graduating, and he rushed home, filled with despair and hatred for himself, truly believing in his heart that he was a murderer. He went to a man that went by the name of Sherlock, mistaking him for a therapist, wishing for some sort of penance for his actions. The man, as impulsive as he was, decided to help the distraught boy, and quickly discovered the truth: that Connor's friend had killed the constricted boy's family and then himself to free the boy completely from bondage.
Sherlock allowed Connor to wait for a while, allowing him to believe that he was a therapist as he taught the boy to think for himself as a normal being should, and, once it seemed that the boy would be alright, Sherlock told Connor the truth. Connor's relief was so great when he learned, and yet his heart was so greived.. Connor's incredible amount of emotion opened him up to others for a period of time, and Connor filled Sherlock with that void.
Connor idolized Sherlock and eventually wished with all of his heart to emulate the detective, and eventually Sherlock decided to allow him under his mentorship, stating something about tea and hats.. Connor now works to become just like his mentor and he serves him with as much enthusiasm as one could possibly muster for a man with an insanity quite like Sherlock's..
