ooc: this is going to be short and sweet because proboards ate my first post. /sniff sniff. ;n;
Twice had he left the castle grounds without a word to his adviser. He was becoming quite the rebellious young king, huh? No, not really. He just wanted what the servants were too incompetent to obtain for him. They didn't know just what he wanted. Only he did. Thus, he slipped out of the castle every now and again to obtain exactly what he wanted. Nothing more, nothing less. Leaving was quite easy. As king, the guards were not to question him. They probably should, and it would probably have been easier for him to grab a guard or two and have them come with him, but he shouldn't be too dependent on the guards. Not all of them would so readily defend his life. He was quite sure some wanted him dead, but that was just because what happened with father put him a little on edge.
Draping a black cloak over his shoulders, putting the hood up, grabbing his sword, and grabbing his spending money, the king left the castle. He needed not a carriage as his destination was within walking distance. All he needed to do was traverse from the castle walls to the market within Rota City. It wasn't all that hard. All he had to do was weave through the hundreds of citizens that crowded the streets. He almost felt pity for the horses that were connected to the stagecoaches, forced to wait on the sidelines while people surrounded them. Ugh, and the smell was just horrendous. Go in, grab what you want, and get out. Lucifer will never know that I am gone. With that in mind, the young king pressed forward.
Being small proved to be useful. He could easily slip through the small gaps between citizens. His blue gaze glanced around the market, taking in everything from the vendors shouting at the potential customers to the live merchandise tied together by rope. He returned his gaze to the path ahead. He had no need for the fruits, vegetables, and everything else he could get a servant to obtain. No, he wanted the toys. He wanted the slaves. They were his prize for tonight.
