Claire hops out of her bed, still wearing the ball gown she fell asleep with the night before. She quickly hops out of bed and prepares for the day, putting on yet another ball gown as she steps out of her room. "Eos! Miss Whippy! Time to get up!" She shouts as she runs down the hall, her Pokemon friends waking up and groggily trying to follow.
She enters the main section of the temple, the sunlight of dawn making its first appearance. She glances around to see if anyone is around before turning to her Pokemon. Eos yips at Claire as she smiles brightly at her partner. Eos knows what to do as he jumps into the air.
Claire launches a bright display of confetti and streamers from her hands as she utilizes her Celebration ability. Eos does the same, and, as teh streamers and confetti collide, they create a beautiful display of light and color. Claire uses her Disarming Voice ability to hum a song of happiness as she dances around with joy. Claire finishes off the show with a large Swift star aimed at Eos. The little Eevee jumps on the star and spins around before jumping off as the star explodes into glittery light.
Whippy sits quietly in awe as she watches the display. While the little ice type doesn't know this, this occurrence is quite common here, as this is how everyone in the temple is awoken every single morning. Claire plops down on a small pile of colorful party fixtures as she pets Whippy's head, wondering what the day will bring.
A guards woman, likely on the night shift, and not happy she was being kept up beyond her usual duties, was busy dragging a young man with a mane of orange hair through the hall. Ozdin's arms were bound behind his back, and he was struggling halfheartedly as the woman pulled him along. As the confetti and singing filled the room, Swift stars exploding everywhere, the guards woman saluted dutifully.
"Forgive me for disturbing you, your holiness, I was just taking this criminal to a cell; he was caught desecrating the temple's outside walls with graffiti." Ozdin pulled hard as the guard spoke, pulling himself free of the woman momentarily.
"Desecrated? I was making it look nicer. It was a big blank boring piece of white. If you'd let me finish, I would have made a mural of Cresselia watching over the people. It would have been much better that way, I swear! Oh, let go of me already, it's not like I could get far with my arms tied like this!" Ozdin continued to hop around the room, trying to stay free of the guards woman, who thought it was far too early in the morning for this. Sho was quite enjoying himself, despite the circumstances, and was busy drawing a large black mustache on the guards woman's face, which didn't improve her mood in the slightest.

Claire watches as one of the guards brings in a young man all tied up and struggling. Oh my? I wonder what he did wrong! Claire thinks as the pair walk closer. "Whippy" gets closer to Claire as the guard begins to speak. After the little ordeal between the two of them, along with the young man's comments, Claire makes a quick decision as she begins to speak.
"Actually, I think the young man is right. He won't be able to get out of those bounds, and if he does, we can make sure he's dealt with. Besides, if he was trying to honor our God, why should we treat him as you do? I will judge for myself what needs to be done to this man." Claire says with a smile. The guard looks at Claire carefully, wondering if a girl so young could possibly deal with him, but before Claire can smile at the lady to reassure her, she leaves, apparently fed up the the young man.
"So, young man, my name is Claire, this is Eos, and this is Mrs. Whippy." Claire says, forgetting to mention her title while pointing to her partners. Claire didn't ask the man for his name, but her expression gives that quality of needing a response along those lines. She looks at the young man's partner, however, she doesn't address it, hoping the young man will speak for himself.

Ozdin's eyes bulged as the guardswoman obeyed the girl with the confetti. He stood there and stared for a long while before realizing she was waiting for him to answer.
"Oh! Hello. My name is Ozdin, and this is Sho." Ozdin motioned with his shoulder at his pokemon soul, who himself was busy taking advantage of the freedom to doodle on the wall, drawing the girl and all her confetti flying around with swift stars. "The guards woman called you 'your holiness'...Are you one of the maidens? If so I'm terribly sorry for not recognizing you; between my job at the arena and my...well, the reason I'm here now, I don't have much time to keep up with politics..."Ozdin remained standing there, awkwardly flexing his limbs to maintain blood flow through his bonds.

Claire smiles at the young man as she sees almost blanks expression. Claire listens as the boy says his name while introducing his soul partner. Sho..What a lovely name.. Claire thinks as she watches the creature defile the beauty of the walls with it's own markings. Claire is sure that any of her sisters would be quite upset at this, however, considering the drawing, Claire finds it appealing.
As Ozdin asks Claire her position, the blue haired girl seems quite surprised to realize that she forgot to mention who she is, not that it matters much to her anyway, titles never appealed to the girl in the first place.. She also realizes that she forgot one other element of introduction. So, Claire begins to speak, answering Ozdin's question while also addressing another that would eventually come.
"Oh, I am terribly sorry. I serve as the First Maiden of Somniis. Also, this one here is Stella, my soul partner." Claire says, motioning to the eevee which is floating around happily, watching Sho do it's work.
"So, you said you work in the Arena..That dreaded place..are you a combatant? Do you..enjoy that?" Claire asks, almost not wanting to hear the answer she expects from the young man.
As Clair awaits an answer, she swings her baton, which has now been covered in sparkle dust, into the air, creating a beautiful sight as the morning light reflects off of the dust, creating a seemingly tangible mural over that wall Sho is not painting on.
Ozdin did his best to shrug, his bindings making it difficult. "I fight, but I don't kill. Blood is a horrible paint; it's too viscous, it changes color when it dries, and then there's the clothing stains...It's not worth the effort." Ozdin explained, completely not noticing the trepidation in the girl's eyes.
After answering her question, stopped to think about what she had said before. "Wait, you're the First Maiden!?! I'm so sorry I didn't recognize you, you're highness!" Ozdin kneeled down to the best of his ability, his arms killing him as he did so. Sho paused from his own doodling to examine the girl's mural, and nodded appreciatively at her work, before returning to the other wall to begin making a copy, so that the room had symmetry.

So he paints rather than fight..that's noble of him.. Claire thinks, her mind processing Ozdin's words as her heart wishes to. When Ozdin shows a display of honor, Claire giggles a bit. "It's pefectly alright Ozdin, I don't request such honor. We are all people after all." Claire says, thinking about the title of Maiden..
Claire begins to walk out of the Temple and out into the grounds. "So, Mister Ozdin, what would you like to do today? A game of tag? A musical? A party? So many things we could do. It's a good things it's still morning!" Claire says, acting like Ozdin is a close friend, and assuming that he and Sho are following and not running.

Ozdin's first thought was now was his best chance to run. His second thought was he wouldn't get very far tied up like he was. As he followed the Maiden, He was surprised at her question. "What would I like to do? Um...the guards probably wouldn't like it, but I'd like to finish my painting, if that's alright with you." Ozdin's brow creased in confusion, and he looked at Sho, who drew in the air an image of a sun rising. Except the scenery was wrong; If was from the wrong side of the island...Ozdin's mouth made an 'Oh!' motion as he realized it was a sunset. He nodded his concern to his Soul Pokemon at the thought that the Maiden had effectively kidnapped him for the day. I may have been better off with the guards-woman...

Claire's eyes light up while dimming at the same time as Ozdin makes his request. She thinks about the arena and the area around it.. For whatever reason, whenever Claire visits that place, it's as if nothing happens while she is there, yet she doesn't quite enjoy the place for some reason, despite not actually have evidence or proof that she shouldn't. Nevertheless, Claire begins to speak, incredibly exited to leave the Temple.
"Really!? You wanna go all the way over there! Yay! Go on! Lead the way! I'll watch the back to see if there are any more people who might wanna join us! We could have an art day! Wouldn't that be fun! And Art day! A super fun Art day! Yay!" Claire says, using a swift star to cut Ozdin loose as she holds his hands in a half skipping half dancing jumping number, completely exuding the idea of exitement.
Claire lets go to allow the boy to lead the way as she follows right behind him. If Ozdin ever decides to look behind him, Claire's big purple eyes would be staring her right in the face..
Ozdin considered running, but knew that he wouldn't get very far. Instead he merely followed, then took the lead, heading for the partially finished mural. As he walked, Ozdin wondered if he was really going to get to finish the mural because the first maiden had whim-fully decided to let him? Would he be allowed to leave once it was done? Probably not...But he didn't mind spending the day painting. That had been his plan anyway.
Ozdin walked through the garden, Sho hopping along behind him, doodling on the trees as he went, till they arrived at a wall covered in a group of large black curves, none of them seaming to make any sense. Yet. Ozdin turned around to speak to Claire, finding her right behind him. "OhCresselia!-Don't scare me like that, please...anyway, here's the mural. Like I said, it's not done yet, but when I'm done it will be a mural of Cresselia, and the Maidens." Ozdin looked to Sho, and the two shared space, becoming almost entirely pokemon, but with Ozdin's orange main. ShOzdin then proceeded to fly around the wall, using their tail to paint additional lines, slowly turning the random curves into Cresselia's outline, and then a stylized drawing of the Goddess in pokemon form...

As Ozdin leads Claire along, she wonders if perhaps the boy is actually interested in her, or.. well, she can't really seem to think of anything else. Oh well She thinks, forgetting what she was just thinking of..
As Ozdin and Claire approach the wall that Ozdin was working on, Claire herself is scared when Ozdin becomes scared of her presence. "Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't realize I was so--Ooh, you can become one with Sho! How cool! You both look wonderful, and so does your art."
Claire watches as the pair continues to work as one, watching intently, wondering what their final result will be. As she watches, she doesn't notice the eyes watching all five of them in the background..
ShOzdin continued to work for several hours, the wall being very large, and their care for the detail being even higher than usual, because they had someone watching them. There were mistakes made, but they were able to correct them before they dried; one of the advantages of such a large painting. ShOzdin was aware of Claire's eyes on their back, but because of this never noticed the other pair watching from the shadows as they worked.
After several hours, the sun now reaching almost noon, the mural was complete, a stunning array of 12 white-robed women, their faces hidden behind shadowy hoods, surrounding Cressila in her pokemon form, her godly glow seaming to resonate with the maiden's forms. while it is clearly a stylized, 2d drawing, it is a very adept one, showing practice with the brush.
Tired from flying that whole time, ShOzdin lands, and splits in halves again, and Oz sits down next to Claire, taking a view of his and Sho's work, noticing the faults that only the creator would, of which there are many, as there always are.

Claire watches intently as the two that are as one paint, fixing errors the Claire didn't think were so while continuing non stop for hours.
After a while, Claire sits down and watches, her eyes glued to the wall despite her sitting there looking at the same spot the entire time. Finally, as the two become separate again and the entire picture is finished, Claire sits straight up and stares over the entire thing, looking like a child as she does. Claire's eyes sparkle as she turns to look at Ozdin.
"It's wonderful, Ozdin! You put so much work into it, and it turned out wonderfully! Which one is me? Oh, never mind, it's beautiful!!" She shouts as she jumps to her feet, grabbing Ozdin by the arms and pulling him up, proceeding to spin in a circle as fast as her legs can, humming a tune very loudly as she does. After about fifteen rounds of spinning, Claire finally gives up, letting go of Ozdin, forgetting to slow him down, she stands once more, looking at the mural as if it is a jewel.
After a moment of viewing, Claire notices something behind her, and before she knows it, a little man, tiny, old looking, and hunchbacked has stolen Eos and run off with it, screaming something about how he had found a real one. The man looks completely homeless and destitute, and Eos, the brave little boy his is, yips and barks at the man as he runs further and further away.
"Oh look! That man must want to play with Eos! Yay! Have fun Eos..I wonder when they are coming back! They sure are playing a long ways from here!" Claire shouts as she turns watches, completely unaware that Eos has been Pokenapped..
Ozdin, tired, watched as the man ran by, taking the poor pokemon with him. Claire, this maiden, seemed truly innocent, not realizing what had just happened. Sho floated in the air, looking in the direction the pokenapper was going, and looked back at Ozdin.
Ozdin wasn't sure what to do. It wasn't his business, and he didn't really have much energy left, but at the same time, this maiden would be a good ally to have, and her innocence made her a hard victim to ignore. It wasn't her fault, after all...Ozdin cursed alloud, climbing to his feet and dashing after the man, calling out to his Pokemon Spirit. "Sho! Help!" Sho dove as his other half ran bye, and the two transformed into ShOzdin.
Ozdin's moment of hesitation had cost them precious time, but ShOzdin took to the air, hoping to make up lost ground before he lost sight of the pokenapper.

Just as Ozdin and Sho begin to fly off, Claire realizes what is happening. Wait..he doesn't want to just play with Eos? Oh no! Eos! Come back! She thinks as she begins to run after the others. Oh dear..I hope he'll be alright..maybe Ozdin will catch him..maybe..Oh I wish Eos would come back.. She thinks to herself.. And just as she does, Eos teleports back to Claire in a miraculous way, and the Pokenapper couldn't be more surprised. He looks at the flying creature thing that has now caught up to him, wondering if it could have been it that took the creature, but he doesn't see a thing.
Eos, a bit confused as to how he got back to Claire, snuggles up next to her as Claire pick him up. "Oh Eos! You came back! Yay!" She screams quite loudly. "Oh thank you thank you thank you Sir Ozdin! You saved him!" She shouts as she Pets Eos happily.
